摘要: A solid state image pickup device includes: a semiconductor substrate defining light receiving areas; pixels formed in the light receiving areas, each pixel including a high and a low sensitivity photoelectric conversion element; a light shielding film formed above the light receiving areas and having an opening above each pixel, the opening exposing at least a partial area of the high and the low sensitivity photoelectric conversion element; an on-chip micro lens formed above each opening, the on-chip micro lens converging incidence light; and an inner lens formed between the light shielding film and the on-chip micro lens and above the opening, the inner lens being disposed so that the inner lens receives light converged by the on-chip micro lens, excluding a portion of the light, and further converges the received light to make the portion of the light propagate toward the opening without passing through the inner lens.

摘要: A shadow mask for use in a cathode ray tube comprises a mask body having a mask effective section where a number of electron beam passage apertures are formed and a skirt portion provided at a peripheral edge of the mask effective section, and a mask frame arranged to be layered outside the skirt portion. The mask frame and the skirt portion are resistance-welded to each other at a plurality of portions. At each welding portion, a plurality of concave and/or convex portions each having a smaller area than an area of a contact surface of an electrode for resistance-welding are formed at an inner surface portion of the skirt portion which the electrode contacts.

摘要: In a system for monitoring power of a nuclear reactor, a plurality of neutron flux measuring devices are arranged in a reactor core of the nuclear reactor for measuring neutron flux so as to generate neutron flux signals on the basis of the measured neutron flux. The neutron flux signals are filtered through a first weighting coefficient and a second weighting coefficient previously held in a monitoring signal calculating unit so as to generate stability monitoring signals. The first weighting coefficient corresponds to a fundamental mode of a neutron flux distribution in the reactor core and tire second weighting coefficient corresponds to a higher mode of the neutron flux distribution therein. The stability monitoring signal filtered through the first and second weighting coefficients are transmitted to a stability monitoring unit the stability monitoring unit monitors the stability of the core according to the transmitted stability monitoring signals.

摘要: An inhibitor to suppress or inhibit the viscosity increase of a hydrocarbon, e.g. in a bottom section of an oil quench tower, featuring the use of a sulfonic acid and/or its salt as an effective inhibitor composition, which may optionally contain a polymerization inhibitor including one or more inhibitors selected from the group of aromatic amines, phenols and dialkyl hydroxyl amines. Furthermore, the method to inhibit the increasing viscosity of hydrocarbon, e.g. in a bottom section of a tower, may be accomplished by adding the hydrocarbon viscosity inhibitor to the feed oil, reflux oil or directly to the tower bottom oil in the tower. Such an oil quench tower is used for an olefin production process in which the hydrocarbon may include naphtha, light oil, natural gas, liquefied natural gas, etc. in the raw material.
