    摘要: A thermosensitive recording material comprising a thermosensitive layer provided on a substrate, and the thermosensitive layer comprises as main ingredients a leuco dye and a developer to make colored state of said leuco dye when heated, wherein the developer is an oligomer composition obtained from the reaction of a polyvalent isocyanate compound represented by following Formula (I) with an aromatic amine represented by following Formula (II); 1 where X represents a try- or more-valent group, a represents an integer numeral of 3 or more, b and c represent respectively integer numerals in the range of 0 to 5 and they satisfy a relation of bnullcnull1 to 5, Z represents hydrogen atom, alkyl group, allyl group or aryl group, and the aryl group may include condensed ling structure thereof, and d represents an integer numeral in the range of 0 to 4. This developer shows excellent reliabilities of both image and background area, and also shows an excellent color-developing characteristics (color developing sensitivity and image density).

    摘要: Provided are novel blocked polyisocyanurates to be suitably used as an adhesiveness providing agent, coating material, sealant and crosslinking agent for polymers containing active hydrogens. Also provided are polyvinyl chloride plastisol compositions comprising a polyvinyl chloride resin, the above blocked polyisocyanurate as an adhesiveness providing agent, plasticizer and a specific agent for accelerating dissociation of the blocked polyisocyanurate. These compositions have excellent properties such as high adhesiveness even cured at low temperatures and resistance to yellowing, and are suitably used particularly as sealants for car body.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a powder lacquer containing a mixture of(A) a polyisocyanate component in power form which is solid below about 40.degree. C. and liquid above about 150.degree. C. and(B) a organic polyhydroxyl component in powder form which is solid below about 40.degree. C. and liquid above about 150.degree. C.,components (A) and (B) being present in quantities corresponding to an equivalent ratio of isocyanate groups to hydroxyl groups of about 0.6:1 to 1.2:1, characterized in that component (A) is based on a polyisocyanate or polyisocyanate mixture which(a) does not contain any blocking agents for isocyanate groups,(b) has a content of free isocyanate groups (expressed as NCO) attached to tertiary, aliphatic or cycloaliphatic carbon atoms of about 8 to 24% by weight and an average NCO functionality of at least 2.1,(c) has a urethane group content (expressed as --NH--CO--O--) of about 3 to 30% by weight and(d) has an isocyanurate group content (expressed as C.sub.3 N.sub.3 O.sub.3) of 0 to about 30% by weight.The present invention also relates to the use of this powder lacquer for the production of coatings on heat-resistant substrates by methods known in powder lacquer technology.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a process for reducing the free monomer content of polyisocyanate adduct mixtures wherein the adduct has an average isocyanate functionality of greater than about 1.8 which comprises treating the polyisocyanate adduct mixture in the presence of 2 to about 30 percent by weight of an inert solvent, based on the weight of the polyisocyanate mixture, in an agitated thin-layer evaporator under conditions sufficient to reduce the free monomer content of the polyisocyanate adduct mixture below that level which is obtainable in the absence of a solvent.

    摘要: An organic solvent based, thermosetting coating composition of a hydroxy functional epoxy-polyester graft copolymer and blocked polyisocyanate crosslinking agent. The coating composition may be formulated as a hot sprayable, high solids coating composition suitable for use as a chip resistant automotive vehicle primer adapted for use on body panel areas subject to chipping by stones, gravel and other road debris. Alternatively, the composition may be formulated as a high solids composition sprayable with conventional spraying equipment. Hydroxy functional epoxy-polyester graft copolymer is prepared by polymerization of lactone monomers in the presence of hydroxy functional epoxy ester resin precursor. Such precursor resin is formed by reaction of diepoxide chain extended substantially simultaneously with diphenol and dicarboxylic acid and chain terminated with acid component comprising primary hydroxy functional acid.

    摘要: Disclosed are novel compositions capable of catalytically trimerizing organic isocyanates said compositions comprising solutions of the reaction products obtained by reacting in an inert solvent in substantially equimolar proportions electron-rich ketene-aminals with electron-poor olefins having the respective formulae (I) and (II) ##STR1## The variously substituted electron-rich ketene-aminals (I), as the name implies, have high electron density associated with the double bond because of the two tertiary amine groups while the electron-poor olefins (II) have the opposite situation due to the presence of electron withdrawing substituents R.sub.9 and R.sub.10.Also disclosed is an improved process for trimerizing organic isocyanates using the above catalyst compositions including the preparation of polyisocyanurate polymers and isocyanurate-modified polyisocyanates.
