摘要: A boiler system having a generally cylindrical housing or shell includes a main or fire tube with a furnace or combustion chamber extending longitudinally near the bottom of the housing and a burner to accomplish combustion within the combustion chamber. The combustion chamber opens at its rear end to furnace tube sheet, and to a first set of tubes extending longitudinally of the boiler. The first set of tubes extends to and through the rear tube sheet of the boiler to a turnaround space, which transitions to a second set of tubes located above the combustion chamber and first set of tubes to generally span a length extending from the rear tube sheet of the boiler to the front tube sheet. The boiler system as disclosed has a reduced size while maintaining efficiency in steam and hot water applications.

摘要: A heat exchanger for supplying heat includes a housing, a bundle of helical fin-coil tubes, and a flue channel. The housing includes a burner, a water inlet, a water outlet and a flue gas outlet. The burner is disposed on a top portion of the housing and connected to an air/gas mixture unit. The bundle of helical fin-tube coils is disposed tightly, circularly, and coaxially around the burner. The flue channel is disposed below the burner and is formed by a plurality of serpentine bent fin-tube coils. A flow of flue gas vents from the flue channel to the flue gas outlet. The water inlet is connected to the plurality of serpentine bent fin-tube coils which forms the flue channel below the burner. The plurality of serpentine bent fin-tube coils below the burner are connected to the bundle of helical fin-tube coils. The bundle of helical fin-tube coils are connected to the water outlet.

摘要: The present invention relates to a combustion apparatus capable of reducing the combustion load of a burner and improving the combustion efficiency thereof. The combustion apparatus includes: a premixing chamber for premixing external air, introduced through an air supply inlet, with a combustion gas; a blower for supplying a mixed air premixed in the premixing chamber toward a burner; a combustion chamber for burning the mixed air by ignition of the burner; a heat exchanger for heat exchange with room heating water by using the combustion heat of the combustion chamber; an exhaust gas discharging part for discharging an exhaust gas having passed through the heat exchanger; and a duct through which the exhaust gas having passed through the exhaust gas discharging part is discharged outside, wherein the combustion apparatus includes an air intake preheater for heat exchange between the exhaust gas discharged to the duct through the exhaust gas discharging part and the air supplied to the premixing chamber through the air supply inlet, the air intake preheater including a channel-forming member in which a plurality of unit plates are stacked with a predetermined interval therebetween to form an exhaust gas channel and an air intake channel therein that are separated from each other, are adjacent to each other, and are alternately arranged.

摘要: A power generation system of the present invention includes: a fuel cell unit (101) including a fuel cell (11) and a case (12); a controller (102); a combustion unit (103) provided outside the case (12) and configured to combust a combustible gas to supply heat; and a discharge passage (70) configured to cause the fuel cell unit (101) and the combustion unit (103) to communicate with each other, wherein in a case where an exhaust gas is being discharged to the discharge passage (70) from one of the fuel cell unit (101) and the combustion unit (103) and the controller (102) changes the flow rate of the exhaust gas discharged from the other unit, the controller (102) controls at least the flow rate of the exhaust gas discharged from the other unit such that the flow rate of the exhaust gas discharged from the one unit becomes constant.

摘要: A gas water heater having increased thermal efficiency comprises a water tank having a sealed combustion chamber thereunder. An atmospheric burner is located in the combustion chamber. A flue pipe extends from the sealed combustion chamber and through the water tank for heat exchange of hot atmospheric gas therein with water in the water tank. A heat exchanger is in communication with the combustion gases exiting the water tank to extract residual heat from the combustion gas in the flue pipe for mixture with ambient air to produce pre-heated combustion air. An air convection or draft inducing device directs the hot combustion air from the heat exchanger through a sealed conduit to direct the pre-heated combustion air to the combustion chamber.

摘要: A high-efficiency hot-water boiler for a heating system of a building is provided. The boiler includes a boiler enclosure that contains a furnace area compartment within an insulated sealed casing, a first watertube compartment within a sealed casing, a second watertube compartment within a sealed casing, and an air-to-air preheat exchanger within a sealed casing. A plurality of separate, closely-spaced watertubes extends within each of the compartments and provides paths for working fluid to flow through the compartments for purposes of transferring heat to the working fluid. A burner is located within the furnace area compartment for combusting an air/gas mixture. The casings include openings for directing the passage of the products of combustion to make a first pass through the furnace area compartment, a second pass through the first watertube compartment and a third pass through the second watertube compartment and then through the air-to-air preheat exchanger to preheat fresh combustion air before being exhausted from the enclosure via the flue. An air/gas mixer and a burner ignition system are also disclosed.

摘要: A water heater includes a tank 10 arranged inside a casing 20 with a burner 16 below the tank so that a heat exchange zone 15 surrounding the tank receives the combustion products. The tank 10 is supported on three edge contact projections 26 resting on ledges 27 located a substantial distance up the sides of the tank. The casing 20 narrows in the upwards direction and a heat shield 30 is coaxially located in the lower portion of the casing where the hottest gases are. A downwardly extending flue 49 outside the casing provides a heat trap. The burner 15 has a burner ring 60 with a unique arrangement of burner ports 62 and a secondary air guide 80. The thermostat probe 14 for the gas valve 17 passes through the heat exchange zone 15 to be intentionally affected by the heat and reduce the achieved operating temperature differential.
