Abstract:
In one aspect, a device includes a first portion having a length substantially the same as a length of a gap of a slot of a free link of a reel feeder. The device is configured to be placed in the gap to limit movement of a take-up arm along the slot. In another aspect, a method includes placing a device in a gap of a slot of a free link of a reel feeder to limit movement of a take-up arm along the slot.
Abstract:
A jam prevention mechanism includes a used tape guide with a guide surface along which a used tape fed out from a tape feeder is guided in a guide direction following a longitudinal direction of the used tape. A pressing member presses, against the guide surface, the used tape guided along the guide surface. A support member removably supports the pressing member.
Abstract:
A workpiece carrier for supporting a plurality of workpieces, the workpiece carrier comprising a supporting body including a plurality of workpiece support elements, each for supporting a workpiece and providing for individual positioning of the same, the workpiece support elements each including at least one biasing element for applying a biasing force to an edge of the respective workpiece, at least one first cam for acting on an edge of the respective workpiece at a first location against the bias of the at least one biasing element, and at least one second cam for acting on an edge of the respective workpiece at a second location against the bias of the at least one biasing element, wherein the at least one first cam and the at least one second cam are operable such as to enable the position of the respective workpiece to be set relative to the supporting body.
Abstract:
A jig specification support device is connected to a database that stores a first identifier which identifies an electronic part to be mounted on a substrate using a mounter device and a second identifier which identifies a jig mounting the electronic part in a corresponding manner. The jig specification support device includes determining whether a total number of electronic parts mounted on one or more jigs mounted on the mounter device is less than the number requested to achieve a plan. The jig specification support device includes a fourth display controlling that, when the total number of electronic parts is less than the number requested to achieve the plan, specifies in the database the second identifier of the jig which is not mounted on the mounter device and is mounting the electronic part. A fourth display controlling emits a LED of the jig having the specified second identifier.
Abstract:
A component mounting apparatus includes two board transfer devices, a component supply unit, a component placing device, a setting unit, and a controller. Until production of the urgent boards is instructed, the two board transfer devices and the component placing device mount components on the regular boards in accordance with a first mounting program stored by the controller. When production of the urgent boards is instructed, a regular board is unloaded from the other board transfer device, which has been set by the setting unit to transfer urgent boards, the transfer way width of the other board transfer device is adjusted to the width of the urgent boards, and the other board transfer device and the component placing device are controlled so that component mountings on the urgent boards are performed on the other board transfer device in accordance with a second mounting program stored by the controller.
Abstract:
There is provided a device for electronic components including: a tray provided with electronic components formed by stacking dielectric sheets on which inner conductors are formed; a transfer unit continuously transferring the electronic components moved from the tray; and a magnetic field providing unit providing a magnetic field to the electronic components moved from the transfer unit to align the inner conductors in a direction in which the magnetic field and magnetic resistance are reduced.
Abstract:
An apparatus for segregating electronic components that engages and stops each of a plurality of electronic packages passing down a singulation tube is disclosed. In addition, the segregating apparatus is cable of segregating the electronic packages even though some of them had been linked together during the sealing process. The segregating apparatus includes a first swing arm to clip a electronic component, a second swing arm to clip another electronic component, and a third swing arm to depart the two electronic components, where all of components of the segregating apparatus are driven by a single driving force, reducing the size of the apparatus and the time needed for the segregating process.
Abstract:
A method for filling a carrier tape (10) with electronic components (12) and for removing and replacing defective electronic components (13) from the carrier tape, comprising the steps of: at a filling station (1), loading an electronic component in a pocket (11) of the carrier tape (10), moving said carrier tape (10) forward, automatically detecting that said electronic component which is defective, moving said carrier tape backward, and unloading the defective electronic component (13) from the carrier tape (10), at said filling station (1), filling said packet with a new electronic component.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a component mounting apparatus including two board transfer devices for respectively transferring circuit boards in respective directions parallel to each other and a component placing device provided with at least one component placing head for mounting the components on the boards positioned at predetermined mounting positions on the board transfer devices. Where two component placing heads are provided, they pick up components from two component supply devices and mount the picked-up components respectively on the boards loaded by the two board transfer devices. In this way, the component placing device mounts components simultaneously or alternately on two boards loaded respectively by the two board transfer devices. While one of the two board transfer devices is transferring a board thereon or while the one board transfer device is being adjusted to alter its transfer way width, one of the component placing heads for performing component mountings at the one board transfer device helps the other component placing head in performing component mountings at the other board transfer device. In a modified form, either one of the two transfer devices is used as bypass conveyor or return conveyor.
Abstract:
An electronic-component conveying apparatus that conveys an electronic component by holding the electronic component in a through hole provided in a conveying table of the apparatus, in which the electronic component can be quickly and reliably dismounted from the through hole by using compressed gas, and undesired popout of the electronic component due to a residual pressure infrequently occurs, whereby the efficiency in the conveying process can be increased. A workpiece conveying apparatus includes a blowhole opening in a conveying surface of a conveying stage and configured such that an electronic component held in a through hole is dismounted by using compressed gas at a position where the through hole overlaps the blowhole while a conveying table is driven, a vacuum groove communicating with the blowhole and provided in a first surface of the conveying table, and an auxiliary blowhole connected to a compressed-gas supply device and opening in the conveying surface such as to be accessible to the vacuum groove.
