摘要: Proposed is a CFRP surface coating method and a hydraulic cylinder including a component coated by the method. The CFRP surface coating method can prevent damage to a CFRP surface due to thermal spray coating and increase the bonding strength between a CFRP surface and a metal coating layer formed by the thermal spray coating. To this end, the method includes: forming a mesh layer on a CFRP surface; fixing the mesh layer on the CFRP surface by impregnating a heat-resistant resin therein; and forming a metal coating layer by thermal spray coating on the fixed mesh layer in which the heat-resistant resin is impregnated.

摘要: A method for forming a reinforced metallic structure includes providing a tool having a formation surface corresponding to a desired structure shape of the reinforced metallic structure. The method also includes positioning a plurality of fibers on the formation surface of the tool. The method also includes depositing a layer of material on the plurality of fibers using a cold-spray technique. The method also includes removing the layer of material with the plurality of fibers from the tool to create the reinforced metallic structure.

A method of manufacturing a piercer plug (10) includes the steps of; preparing a plug body (1) including a tip portion (11) and a cylindrical portion (12) having a hole (121) usable to attach a bar and located rearward of the tip portion (11); forming a build-up layer (2) on the surface of the tip portion (11); and heating the plug body (1) such that the temperature of the tip portion (11) with the build-up layer (2) formed thereon is not lower than the austenite transformation temperature and the temperature of the cylindrical portion (12) is lower than the austenite transformation temperature.

摘要: A method of producing a gas turbine engine fan blade having a geometric configuration is provided. The method includes: plastically deforming an initial substrate comprised of a first metallic material into a formed substrate; depositing a second metallic material onto the formed substrate using an additive manufacturing process to produce a blade blank, which depositing includes: additively depositing second metallic material to at least one of the first face surface or the second face surface of the formed substrate adjacent the first end surface, to form a root portion; additively depositing second metallic material to at least one of the first face surface or the second face surface of the formed substrate between the root portion and the second end surface to form an airfoil portion; and shaping the blade blank into the geometric configuration.

摘要: Provided are a system and process for remanufacturing a waste cylinder assembly of an aircraft piston engine. The spraying apparatus includes a first power mechanism, a spray gun assembly and a second power mechanism. The first power mechanism drives the cylinder assembly to move in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction. The second power mechanism drives the spray gun assembly to rotate around a center of the blind hole and ensures that prepared coatings can be evenly distributed along an inner wall of the blind hole. A nozzle end of the spray gun extends into the blind hole, and the spray gun is adjustable relative to the center of the blind hole. A spraying distance is not fixed so as to change the spraying distance. Powder can be fully melted.

The engine block may comprise a body including at least one cylindrical engine bore wall having a longitudinal axis and including a coating extending along the longitudinal axis and having a coating thickness. The coating may have a middle region and first and second end regions, and a plurality of pores may be dispersed within the coating thickness. The middle region may have a different average porosity than one or both of the end regions. The method may include spraying a first porosity coating in a middle longitudinal region of the bore and spraying a second porosity coating in one or more end regions of the bore. The first porosity may be greater than the second porosity and the first and second porosities may be formed during the spraying steps. The pores may act as wells for lubricant.
