摘要: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may determine a currently active bandwidth part (BWP). The UE may determine a positioning reference signal (PRS) configuration that specifies PRSs to be measured. The UE may determine that a first subset of the PRSs to be measured are within the currently active BWP and that a second subset of the PRSs to be measured are not within the currently active BWP. The UE may upon determining that measuring the PRSs in the first subset but not measuring the PRSs in the second subset will not produce a measurement result that meets an accuracy requirement, extending the currently active BWP to include at least some of the PRSs in the second subset.

摘要: A communication system with a master device configured to determine location information in real-time with respect to a portable device. The master device may direct one or more monitor devices to monitor communications that occur over a primary communication link. The monitor devices may sense characteristic information about the signal from the portable device, and communicate this characteristic information to the master device via an auxiliary communication link. The communication system may determine location of the portable device, authenticate the portable device, determine whether the portable device is authorized to allow or initiate an action, and command or enable an action with respect to equipment.

The network access transceiver receives a message from the wireless device and sends a message to the local server. The local server utilizes information from the message to determine the location of the wireless device. The network access transceiver and/or the wireless device generate data which is sent to the remote server.

摘要: A method and devices are disclosed, for tracking a moving radio beacon by a mobile device, requiring no GNSS service. According to the disclosed method, the beacon is configured to periodically broadcast short RF signals, reporting its momentary acceleration, relatively to its own coordinate system, possibly different than the mobile device coordinate system, and the mobile device is configured to detect said signals, and use said acceleration report, along with other measurements of these signals, specifically: the Difference in Time of Arrival (DToA) or Difference in Angle of Arrival (DAoA), or Angle of Arrival (AoA), to determine the direction and distance from the mobile device to the beacon. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the beacon is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) tag comprising an accelerometer, configured to perform Bluetooth advertising, and the mobile device is a Bluetooth enabled smartphone.

摘要: A Bluetooth-enabled device is provided, the Bluetooth-enabled device being configured to control a radio frequency (RF) chain during a first period to receive at a single antenna selected from a plurality of antennas, a constant tone extension (CTE) signal of multiple frames transmitted by the Bluetooth-enabled transmitter over multiple frequencies. Further the RF chain is controlled during a second period to switch among the plurality of antennas to receive the CTE signal at each of the plurality of antennas. An initial time-of-flight (ToF) data of the CTE signal is determined from first samples of the CTE signal received during the first period. Further, the Bluetooth-enabled transmitter is localized with respect to a location of the Bluetooth-enabled device using a signal model connecting samples of the CTE signal with an unknown angle-of-arrival of the CTE signal received at specific times, an unknown ToF conditioned on the initial ToF data.
