摘要: A creel assembly having an outer wall defines an interior space, a plurality of yarn package engagement locations distributed within the interior space, a gantry that is movable secured within the interior space, and at least one processor. The gantry is positioned to selectively engage yarn packages within the interior space. In use, the gantry can selectively access the plurality of yarn package engagement locations. The processor is communicatively coupled to the gantry and receives an input corresponding to a selected action by the gantry. Modular creel systems can be formed from a plurality of the disclosed creel assemblies. Methods of using and assembling the disclosed creel assemblies and modular creel systems are also disclosed.

摘要: A flexible electroluminescent fiber for embroidery sequentially includes: metal core wires, a light-emitting layer, a transparent conductive layer, a filament, and a protective paint, wherein a quantity of the metal core wires is an even number, and the metal core wires are pasted together before being wrapped by the light-emitting layer; the light-emitting layer is coated with the transparent conductive layer; the protective paint and the filament are exterior to the transparent conductive layer; the metal core wires emit light through energizing; a diameter of the electroluminescent fiber is 0.1-0.3 mm, and a 20-36V safe voltage is applied for emitting light. The flexible electroluminescent fiber of the present invention has sufficient tensile force, and smooth and soft surface. Appearance and hand feeling of the present invention are the same as those of clothing textile fibers.

摘要: The invention provides 3D-knitted spacer fabrics of high breathability and moisture management and methods of making the 3D-knitted spacer fabrics. The middle layer of the fabric is made of hydrophilic material, comprising two yarns, a blended thermo-fuse wicking yarn comprising hydrophilic fiber and thermo-fuse fiber, and a non-supportive hydrophilic functional wicking yarn. The top layer of the fabric comprises a hydrophilic yarn, and the third layer of the fabric comprises a hydrophobic yarn. The 3D-knitted spacer fabrics are useful in clothing and equipment for wear in high temperature environments.

摘要: A woven textile includes, in at least one of the warp or weft directions, non-flocked yarns and flocked yarns. The flocked yarns include a support yarn having a core covered with an adhesive layer. The support yarn has a base diameter. Protruding filaments provide the flocked yarns with an apparent diameter. The non-flocked yarns have a diameter which is smaller than the apparent diameter and larger than the base diameter of the flocked yarns.

摘要: It is disclosed a method of producing a yarn having the look and feel of natural fibers, the method comprising the steps of preparing a first plurality of man-made textile fibers or a second plurality of natural textile fibers, the first and second plurality of textile fibers being obtained from breaking the first or the second textile fibers under the effect of a mechanical force applied to the first or the second textile fibers. A final blend for producing the yarn, can be prepared by adding the first plurality of textile fibers to a plurality of man-made fibers, or by adding the second plurality of textile fibers to a plurality of man-made fibers, or by adding the first plurality of textile fibers to the second plurality of textile fibers.

摘要: A method for making an elastic core yarn includes covering an elastic core having a fiber of natural rubber with metric count 200-1000 dtex with a cotton-based covering yarn. The elastic core and the covering yarn are conveyed such that the covering yarn laterally attains a proximity of the elastic core in a wrapping space. The covering yarn is helically wrapped about the elastic core. The conveying speed, and therefore the winding/unwinding speed, is selected such that the elastic core is stretched to a stretching ratio of at least two, and the covering yarn becomes twisted with a final twist direction opposite to its initial twist direction, and forms T coils per length unit of the elastic fiber set between a minimum value T0 and a maximum value T1. An elasticized yarn is thereby obtained, and a fabric, in particular a denim type fabric, is manufactured from this yarn.

摘要: Provided is yarn for a cell culture scaffold. The yarn for a cell culture scaffold according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes slitting yarn produced by cutting a compressed nanofiber web to a predetermined width. Accordingly, by creating microenvironments suitable for migration, proliferation and differentiation of cells, cell viability may be enhanced and cells may be three-dimensionally proliferated. In addition, a scaffold according to the present invention has a mechanical strength sufficient for prevention of disruption of the scaffold which occurs during cell culture, such that cells may be stably proliferated. Further, the scaffold according to the present invention uses slitting yarn formed of the compressed nanofiber web, thereby having pores with various sizes, and therefore cell proliferation and cell viability may be enhanced by creation of an extracellular matrix-like environment.
