A malfunction detection device of a bellows type accumulator for pressurized fluid includes malfunction judgment unit for judging a malfunction of the bellows type accumulator on the basis of a detection output of the pressure sensor. The malfunction judgement unit judges that the malfunction of the seal member generates when the difference between a peak pressure value appeared before a predetermined time is past after the starting of the pressure increase from a value below a predetermined value in the inlet and outlet port and a stable fluid pressure appeared after the appearance of the peak pressure value is not within a predetermined range and/or when the peak pressure value does not appear before the progress of the predetermined time.

An object of the present invention is to provide a substrate plating apparatus capable of performing continuous plating operations within one apparatus without the wafers becoming contaminated after the post-plating process by chemicals used in the plating process and the like. Further object is to provide a substrate plating apparatus capable of forming a plating film of uniform thickness on the plating surface of the wafer, while encouraging bubbles to escape from fine holes or grooves in the substrate surface and deterring particles from depositing on the plated surface. According to the present invention, there is provided a substrate plating apparatus for continuously performing a plating process and post-plating process within the same apparatus, the substrate plating apparatus comprising a contaminated zone within which the plating process is performed; a clean zone within which the post-plating process is performed; and a partition dividing the apparatus into the contaminated zone and the clean zone, wherein each zone is independently ventilated. A substrate plating apparatus for plating a surface of a substrate with a plating solution comprises a plating bath that is hermetically sealed and accommodates the substrate to be plated; and a flow path of the plating solution being formed to be parallel to the surface of the substrate.

The present invention provides a fuel cell separator which is capable of maintaining a low and stable contact resistance at a state of an oxidizing water vapor atmosphere for a long time. The separator 20 has a separator base 22 facing electrodes 14, 16, and there are a plurality of projections 24 on a surface of the separator base 22. AS the projections 24, a Sn—Bi alloy, a Sn—Bi alloy containing Ag or the like are preferable. The separator is produced by adhering a molten bath 32, composed of a Sn alloy, to the separator base 22, then pressing a die 34 with numerous small-holes 34a against the molten bath 32, and then pouring the molten bath 32 into a cavity formed by the base 22 and small-holes 34a.

The plating apparatus has a plating section in which a plating process is performed and a control section for regulating the plating solution. The plating section includes a plating bath containing plating solution, an anode provided in the plating solution, and a plating object serving as a cathode placed in the plating solution opposite the anode. The control section includes a regulating tank for regulating the composition and/or concentration of the plating solution, and a replenishing tank for injecting solution into the plating solution in the regulating tank. The plating apparatus also includes a mechanism for circulating plating solution between the regulating tank in the control section and the plating bath in the plating section. The plating section is installed in a first room, while the control section is installed in a second room, which is separate from the first room Accordingly, contamination in the plating section is prevented.

tubular socket (3) is placed. The socket (3) has a male thread portion (3b), through an inner space of which an inner cable (4) passes. A nut (6) is tightened on the male thread portion (3b) to exert against an outer peripheral area (10b) of the notched opening (10). A torsion coil spring (7) urges the nut (6) in such a direction as to always tighten the nut (6) in order to prevent the nut (6) from becoming inadvertently loosened.

An image recording or reading apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus is provided with a non-processed sheet storage portion, a processed sheet storage portion arranged to be parallel to the non-processed sheet storage portion, a sheet processing unit for performing recording processing or reading processing of recorded information for a sheet, the sheet processing unit having an optical unit for executing optical scanning for reading or reading in a main scanning direction of the sheet, and being arranged vertically and in parallel between the non-processed and processed sheet storage portion, and a sheet feed mechanism for feeding a non-processed sheet from the non-processed sheet storage portion to the sheet processing unit, and feeding a processed sheet from the sheet processing unit to the processed sheet storage portion. The sheet processing unit executes processing on a sheet which is being picked up from the non-processed sheet storage portion by the sheet feed mechanism or on a sheet which is being stored in the processed sheet storage portion.

A joint connector easy to construct and involving less fabricating cost. The joint connector comprises a housing 3 for accommodating a plurality of connecting terminals 2 in a rear-side portion thereof, a bus bar 6 formed out of an electrically conductive metal plate and accommodated in the housing 3 for jointing any individual ones of the connecting terminals 2, a bus bar holder 7 for holding the bus bar 6, and a front cover 9 mounted to the housing 3 in such a way as to cover the bus bar holder 7. The bus bar holder 7 has a plurality of holes to be used for cutting the bus bar 6 to form an arbitrary circuit. The bus bar holder 7 and the bus bar 6 is mounted in the housing 3 so as to be movable in relation to the housing 3 in a direction orthogonal to the direction of the connecting terminals 2 being housed. When the front cover 9 is set in the housing 3, it causes the bus bar holder 7 to be moved and the bus bar 6 to be jointed with connecting terminals 2.

A heat development device for thermally developing a latent image formed on a sheet includes a sheet guide means in the form of a plate and a heating means for heating the sheet guide means. The heating means has a width more than a width of the sheet guide means and has both ends in a width direction each of which extends outwardly from a corresponding end of the sheet guide means. The heating means may preferably be divided into at least three portions which are controllable independently. The heat development device may preferably further includes a sheet pressing means for pressing the sheet against the sheet guide means. The heat development device is effective in improving a thermal distribution of the sheet guide means to provide an image having a uniform image density formed on the sheet when used in an image recording apparatus.

The optical fiber transmission line according to the present invention comprises first optical fibers having dispersion values greater than the average dispersion value D.sub.av over the entire transmission distance and second optical fibers having dispersion values less than the average dispersion value D.sub.av, wherein the average dispersion value D.sub.av over the entire transmission distance is in the anomalous dispersion region, the respective lengths L.sub.i and L.sub.i ' of the first and second optical fibers are shorter than the soliton length Z.sub.0 (wherein i is an arbitrary natural number), and the relationship between the lengths L.sub.i and L.sub.i ' and the larger of the respective differences D.sub.i and D.sub.i ' between the dispersion values of the first and second optical fibers and the average dispersion value D.sub.av satisfies the following condition: (L.sub.i +L.sub.i ')/Z.sub.0

Disclosed is a mechanism for separating a sheet one by one from stacked sheets, wherein a sucker is rotatably supported so that the sucker is moved up and down, back and forth. When the sucker is retracted in a state where the sheet is being sucked, the sucker is caused to be rotatively driven and to change the direction of suction surface, so that a front end portion of sucked sheet is lifted up, and one sheet can be separated reliably one by one.
