Abstract:
A semiconductor memory device has a plurality of memory blocks, each block including a matrix arrangement of a plurality of nonvolatile memory elements. The device is also provided with at least one redundant data line which is selectively employed in place of a defective data line associated with a defective address in a memory block. The data lines corresponding to the respective memory blocks are selectively coupled to corresponding ones of first common data lines by a Y selector circuit in accordance with outputs of a first Y decoder, while a redundant data line is controllably coupled to a redundant common data line by a redundant selector circuit in accordance with an output of a redundant decoder. A plurality of data latch circuits are provided for transmitting therethrough write information data in accordance with outputs of a second Y decoder and a second redundant decoder, each one of the plurality of data latch circuits being paired with a respective one of a plurality of write amplifiers which transmit the write signals to the common data lines and redundant common data line. Therefore, of the plurality of data lines being addressed in the plurality of memory blocks, only a defective data line which corresponds to a defective address is replaced with a respective redundant data line.
Abstract:
A memory area within a semiconductor integrated circuit device is accessible through an address changeover circuit. External control signals instruct the memory device as to the addressing mode desired. Address signals originating externally are provided directly to the IC's address decoder circuits, while addresses originating internal to the IC are first shifted one or two bits to modify the address by a power of 2, then provided to the address decoder circuits. In this way, data of bit length N may be written to a memory array of bit length M, where M>N.
Abstract:
When pullulan is used as a binder in coating seeds with inorganic materials, growth hormone preparations, etc., a satisfactory binding effect is obtained with smaller amounts than when conventional binders are used. The resulting inorganic coatings on the seeds are superior in surface hardness and disintegration characteristics in the soil after sowing. Germination of the seed and subsequent growth are not affected by pullulan. Chemically modified pullulan can also be used.
Abstract:
A fertilizer composition manufactured by mixing a fertilizer or a fertilizing substance with pullulan or a derivative thereof, used as binder, and solidifying the mixture. The composition is easily shapable. Another advantage of pullulan over conventional binders is that the pullulan or its derivative which remains in the soil after application of the composition and dissolution of the fertilizer component is degraded by the action of water and soil microorganisms in the soil and, hence, will not hinder the growth of plants.

An image processing apparatus includes a sensor and circuitry. The sensor is configured to read a visible spectrum and an invisible spectrum of an image. The circuitry is configured to separate the image read into a visible image and an invisible image and perform different image correction processes on the visible image and the invisible image, respectively.
Abstract:
A battery electrode manufacturing apparatus including: a front end die which cuts a strip-shaped electrode material into an electrode shape; a hand which grasps the electrode material and conveys the electrode material to the cutting position of the front end die; and a first suction conveyor which is disposed upstream of the front end die in a conveying direction and has a supporting surface for supporting the electrode material during the cutting by the front end die. The hand includes a first grasper and a second grasper, and the first suction conveyor is disposed between the first grasper and the second grasper. The hand carries the electrode material to the cutting position, at such a position that the electrode material does not contact the front end die and the first suction conveyor.
Abstract:
In a vehicle air conditioner, even in a case where an air outlet mode is set in which an air outlet switching damper opens a defroster opening so as to blow air from the defroster opening toward an inner surface of a window glass of a vehicle, the air outlet switching damper is controlled to close the defroster opening when a target air temperature TAO is lower than an outside air temperature TAM. Thus, the vehicle air conditioner prevents a fogging of an outer surface of the window glass without decreasing a temperature comfort in a vehicle compartment.

A combined battery (100) comprising a plurality of flat-type cells (10A to 10F) by laminating thereof so that polarity of electrode tabs (11A to 11F and 12A to 12F) is alternately set, wherein welding parts to connect in series the flat cells themselves, to compose a set when all the flat-type cells (10A to 10F) are laminated, are separated at a plurality of positions of the combined battery, and the flat-type cells having such a structure that all the flat-type cells are electrically connected in series by welding each of the welding parts.
Abstract:
A charged particle beam device of the present invention has a signal processing function of acquiring a secondary signal obtained when a charged particle beam is caused to scan at a low speed not subjected to a band limitation of an electrical signal path, and a secondary signal obtained when a charged particle beam is caused to scan at a high speed subjected to the band limitation of the electrical signal path, calculating a degradation function (H−1(s)) between the plurality of secondary signals, and using an inverse function thereof as a correction filter; and a function of updating a parameter of the correction filter to an optimal value as needed or at given timing. Accordingly, the charged particle beam device can perform optimum image restoration even when a detector or an amplifier circuit that constitutes the electrical signal path degrades with time.
