摘要: The present invention provides a power device including a converter part (2) for converting an AC voltage to a DC voltage; an inverter part (3) for converting the DC voltage outputted from the converter part (2) to the AC voltage; and a transformer (4) having an inductance forming a series resonance circuit together with an electrostatic capacity of a load (20) to boost the AC voltage outputted from the inverter part (3). In the power device, an inductance (7) is connected to the output part of the inverter part (3) in parallel with the transformer (4). Thus, in a discharge part 6 provided in the load (20), since when a discharge is not generated, a recovery current is not supplied to a circulating current diode in the inverter part (3), or the quantity of the recovery current is reduced, the heat generation of the circulating current diode can be suppressed without increasing the number of elements of the circulating current diode.

摘要: A pressure of a laser gas in an enclosure (7) is detected by a gas pressure sensor (12), and a pressure comparison circuit (13) determines whether the thus-detected pressure is normal or anomalous. An electric current output from an inverter (10) that drives a blower (5) to cause a laser gas to flow back, is detected by a current detection circuit (9). A current comparison circuit (11) determines whether or not the output current is normal or anomalous. A result of a pressure comparison circuit (13) and a result of the current comparison circuit (11) are sent to an AND circuit (15) and performed AND processing. A result of the AND circuit (15), a result of the current detection circuit (9), and a result of the gas pressure sensor (12) are sent to a comparison operation section (17) in a controller (14). A determination is made as to whether or not the blower is anomalous. When the blower is determined to be anomalous, a signal is output to an oscillator and a machine control section (18), to thus stop the oscillator and the machine. Thereby, an anomaly in the blower (5) can be detected regardless of fluctuations in the pressure of the laser gas.

摘要: Provided are a semi-transmitting and semi-reflecting electrode substrate provided with a transparent conductive layer which is almost free from the generation of residues caused by etching and is resistant to an etchant for a metal reflecting layer (metal layer), a method of producing the semi-transmitting and semi-reflecting electrode substrate and a liquid crystal display device using the semi-transmitting and semi-reflecting electrode substrate. Specifically, the invention relates a semi-transmitting and semi-reflecting electrode substrate comprising a transparent substrate, a transparent conductive layer which is disposed on the transparent substrate and contains indium oxide as its major component and further one or two or more oxides selected from tungsten oxide, molybdenum oxide and niobium oxide and a metal reflecting layer which is disposed on the transparent substrate, reflects extraneous light and is connected with the transparent conductive layer, to a method producing the semi-transmitting and semi-reflecting electrode substrate and to a liquid crystal display device using the semi-transmitting and semi-reflecting electrode substrate. This semi-transmitting and semi-reflecting electrode substrate is almost free from the generation of residues, has high processability and improves the yield.

摘要: A method of evaluating can evaluate the bias magnetic field strength of hard films that construct a magnetoresistance effect read head, the magnetic coercivity of the hard films, and variations in the magnetic domain of shield films from measurement results for the resistance-parallel magnetic field strength characteristics. A magnetizing magnetic field is applied in a direction parallel to the air bearing surface of a magnetoresistance effect read head equipped with hard films to magnetize the hard films in a direction of a horizontal bias magnetic field applied to a free layer of the read element. After this, the resistance of the read element is detected and the resistance-parallel magnetic field strength characteristics of the read head are measured while applying a test magnetic field with increasing and decreasing intensity in a direction parallel to the horizontal bias magnetic field. The bias magnetic field strength of the hard films is evaluated from peaks appearing in the resistance-parallel magnetic field strength characteristics.

摘要: When a working condition is set, if an operator sets the working condition, a control device (1) obtains an expected load factor of a laser oscillator (2) based on the set working condition, and displays the load factor as a working condition check bar (8) on a display device (3). The operator adjusts the working condition so that a load factor of the laser oscillator (2) stays within a predetermined range while watching the working condition check bar (8) and determines an appropriate working condition. Therefore, it is possible to prevent excessive load from being applied to the laser oscillator (2) at the time of actual working.
