Abstract: A multi-channel imaging spectrometer, comprising an image acquiring unit, an optical detection element, a dispersion element and a lens module comprising a collimating lens module and a focusing lens module. The design of the lens module achieves elimination of primary aberrations such as coma and distortion through separating the collimating lens module and the focusing lens module, having identical structures with the collimating lens module, by a distance that is defined between a rear principle point of the collimating lens module and a front principle point of the focusing lens module and is twice of a front focal length of the focusing lens module. In addition, the lens module is also designed to exhibit linear dispersion for applied spectrum such that focus for each wavelength of the spectrum is linearly distributed on the imaging plane of the spectrometer so as to reduce the dispersion aberration.

Abstract: The present invention provides a fiber Bragg Grating sequential writing method with real-time optical fiber position monitoring, characterized in that the relative phase between a fiber grating and a writing interference beam at each positioning point is determined by an interferometric side-diffraction method, and writing is sequentially performed. Accuracy in fabricating a long and complex fiber grating structure can be increased by decreasing or avoiding accumulative errors caused by long-term scan of monitoring optical fiber position, or by a means for fabricating a wanted reference fiber Bragg grating with similar settings.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a substrate, a processor, and a cooling mechanism. The processor is disposed on the substrate. The cooling mechanism includes a conductive medium, a cooling plate and a protrusion. The conductive medium contacts the processor. The cooling plate contacts the conduction medium. The protrusion protruding from the cooling plate connects the substrate to define and maintain a distance between the substrate and the cooling plate. Thus, the contact between the processor, the conductive medium, and the cooling plate are tightly maintained.

Abstract: When the memory device receives address information and byte information M, the memory device continuously provides M bytes corresponding to M addresses following an address assigned in the address information. The memory device includes: an address calculation module, an address buffer, a decoding module, a plurality of memory units and output buffers. Each output buffer is capable of receiving data of two units and sequentially outputting the data. When the address calculation module stores an address in the address buffer, the decoding module makes cells corresponding to the address simultaneously output data to the output buffers, such that the output buffers sequentially output data of respective unit. The address calculation module starts to count the next address, such that when the output buffer finishes outputting, the next address is already stored in the address buffer, and the decoding module has already made units corresponding to the next address output data.

Abstract: An optical disc drive including a triggering switch and a control unit is disclosed. The triggering unit outputs a triggering signal while it is forced. The control unit, which is electrically coupled with a disc-ejection motor and the triggering switch, receives the triggering signal, and outputs a disc-ejection motor control signal when an optical disc rotates in the optical disc drive. The disc-ejection motor outputs a force opposite to the applied force while receiving the disc-ejection motor control signal so that the tray is restrained in the optical disc drive.

Abstract: A method for depositing an inter-metal-dielectric layer on a semiconductor substrate by plasma chemical vapor deposition without the layer cracking defect is disclosed. The semiconductor substrate is first heat-treated in the same plasma process chamber to a temperature of at least 300° C. for a length of time sufficient to outgas a surface of the semiconductor substrate. The impurity gases absorbed on the surface of the semiconductor substrate can be effectively outgassed during the heat treatment process such that they are not trapped under an IMD layer deposited in a subsequent plasma deposition process. The method effectively minimizes or eliminates completely the IMD layer cracking defect of the dielectric layer.
