摘要: The invention relates to a lighting apparatus comprising a conversion material (2) for converting primary light (4) into secondary light (5), wherein the conversion material (2) comprises converting photolummescent material (15), which degrades to non-converting photolummescent material over time when the conversion material (2) is illuminated by the primary light (4). The conversion material (2) is adapted such that, when the conversion material (2) is illuminated by the primary light (4), the relative decrease in concentration of the converting photolummescent material (15) within the conversion material (2) is larger than the relative decrease in intensity of the secondary light (5). This allows the lighting apparatus to provide an only slightly reduced absorbance of the primary light, even if a large part of the photolummescent material has been bleached, and thus a longer lifetime, with the same or a slightly reduced intensity of the secondary light.

The phosphor-enhanced lighting 100 device comprises a light source 116, a light exit window 102, a first light conversion element 112 and a second light conversion element 110. The light source 116 emits through its light emitting surface 118 source light 114 of a pre-defined color spectrum. The light exit window 102 emits light into an ambient of the phosphor-enhanced lighting device 100. The first light conversion element 112 comprises an inorganic luminescent material which absorbs a part of the source light 114 and converts a part of the absorbed light to light of a first color 104. The second light conversion element 110 comprises a first organic luminescent material which absorbs a part of the source light 114 and/or absorbs apart of the light 104 of the first color. The first organic luminescent material converts a part of the absorbed light to light of the second color 108. The second light conversion element 110 is optically arranged in between the light exit window 102 and the light emitting surface 118 of the light source 116. The first light conversion element 112 is optically arranged in between the second light conversion element 110 and the light emitting surface 118 of the light source 116. A gap 111 is present between the first light conversion element 112 and the second light conversion element 110.

摘要: The present invention relates to a photovoltaic cell device with combined energy conversion and lighting option and a method a controlling such a device. It comprises a responsive element, a reflector or a light source for changing light absorption and thus appearance of photovoltaic cells (e.g. solar panel). It is also possible to combine the responsive element or the reflector with light source(s) providing extra illumination. When combined with a sensor and control unit, ambient intelligent solar panels and ambient intelligent lighting systems can be obtained. A combination of a luminescent solar concentrator (LSC) and light-emitting device is also possible, where an energy storage device is charged by a photovoltaic cell upon irradiation. The energy storage powers one or more light sources which are coupled to the sides of the luminescent plate. The light emitted by the light sources is coupled into the plate and (partly) converted by the luminescent plate. This results in a plate that homogeneously emits light.
