摘要: The present invention relates to a multiband folded loop antenna comprising a dielectric substrate, a ground plane, a radiating portion and a matching circuit. The ground plane is located on the dielectric substrate and has a grounding point. The radiating portion comprises a supporter, a loop strip, and a tuning patch. The loop strip has a length about half wavelength of the antenna's lowest resonant frequency. The loop strip has a feeding end and a grounding end, with the grounding end electrically connected to the grounding point on the ground plane. The loop strip is folded into a three-dimensional structure and is supported by the supporter. The tuning patch is electrically connected to the loop strip. The matching circuit is located on the dielectric substrate with one terminal electrically connected to the feeding end of the loop strip and another terminal to a signal source.

摘要: A resolution detection method for an electronic display device. The method first receives a line rate, a frame rate, and a horizontal total of an electronic display device to calculate candidate resolutions. A horizontal display of the electronic display device is then received. Next, a horizontal blank is calculated according to the line rate and the horizontal display. An adjustment method for application to the electronic display device is determined according to the horizontal blank. Finally, an optimum resolution is selected from the candidate resolutions according to the determined adjustment method.

摘要: A method for fabricating a magnetic recording transducer is described. The transducer has an ABS location and a nonmagnetic intermediate layer having a pole trench. The method includes depositing at least one magnetic pole layer having a top surface and a pole tip portion proximate to the ABS location. A first portion of the magnetic pole layer(s) resides in the pole trench. The magnetic pole layer(s) have a seam in the pole tip portion that extends to the top surface. The method also includes cathodically etching a second portion of the magnetic pole layer(s) from the seam at a rate of not more than 0.1 nanometers/second, thereby forming a seam trench in the magnetic pole layer(s). The method also includes refilling the seam trench with at least one magnetic refill layer. At least an additional magnetic pole layer is deposited on the top surface and the magnetic refill layer(s).

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention include systems and methods for low-rate electrochemical (wet) etch that use a net cathodic current or potential. In particular, some embodiments achieve controlled etch rates of less than 0.1 nm/s by applying a small net cathodic current to a substrate as the substrate is submerged in an aqueous electrolyte. Depending on the embodiment, the aqueous electrolyte utilized may comprise the same type of cations as the material being etched from the substrate. Some embodiments are useful in etching thin film metals and alloys and fabrication of magnetic head transducer wafers.

摘要: An optimum path storage unit stores optimum paths on all wireless communication devices that can be destinations of data. A reception unit receives relay data as a relay target. A QoS judgment unit reads out an optimum path corresponding to a QoS requirement of relay data from the optimum path storage unit and judges whether or not the QoS requirement of data is satisfied by the optimum path. The QoS judgment unit outputs relay data to a transmission unit when it is determined that the QoS requirement is satisfied. The transmission unit transmits the relay data to the next node on the optimum path. When the QoS requirement of the relay data is not satisfied by the optimum path, a NACK information generation unit generates NACK information that includes the fact that transmission of the relay data has been interrupted and transmits the NACK information to neighboring wireless communication devices.

The antenna comprises a dielectric substrate, a ground plane located on the dielectric substrate and has a grounding point, a radiating portion which comprise a supporter, a coupling trip and a loop strip, and a matching circuit. The coupling strip and loop strip are both located on the supporter, with the coupling strip surrounded by the loop strip. The length of loop strip is about 0.25 wavelength of the antenna's first resonant mode. The loop strip has a first end paralleling with the coupling loop, a second end and a shorting point near the second end and electrically connected to the grounding point on the ground plane. The matching circuit is on the dielectric substrate. One terminal of the matching circuit is connected to the coupling strip, and the other is connected to a signal source.
