Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes a receptacle shell, an insulation housing bracket, a receptacle grounding contact, and a grounding member. The insulation housing bracket is disposed inside the receptacle shell. The receptacle grounding contact is held inside the housing base. The grounding member is disposed on a first side of the insulation housing bracket and located between the insulation housing bracket and the receptacle shell. A connecting structure is selectively disposed on the grounding member or on the receptacle grounding contact. The connecting structure penetrates through the insulation housing bracket and mechanically or physically connects the grounding member and the receptacle grounding contact such that the grounding member is electrically connected to the receptacle grounding contact.
Abstract:
An electrical plug connector assembly has an insulative housing, a first terminal set, a second terminal set and a circuit board. The first and second terminal sets are mounted in the insulative housing. The first terminal set has multiple first conductive terminals each including a first soldering section. The second terminal set has multiple second conductive terminals each including a second soldering section. The first and second soldering sections are soldered on an identical surface of the circuit board such that only one single soldering process is required to solder all of the first and second conductive terminals to the circuit board. The production rate of the electrical plug connector assembly is therefore improved.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, a plurality of first receptacle terminals, and a plurality of second receptacle terminals. The insulated housing is received in the receiving cavity. The insulated housing includes a tongue portion and a plurality of first grooves formed on the tongue portion. The first receptacle terminals are held in the tongue portion. The second receptacle terminals are held in the tongue portion. The second receptacle terminals include a plurality of cut portions corresponding to the first grooves.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, a plurality of first receptacle terminals, a plurality of second receptacle terminals, and a rear cover plate. The insulated housing is received in the receiving cavity. The first receptacle terminals and the second receptacle terminals are respectively disposed at an upper portion and a lower portion of the insulated housing. The rear cover plate includes a baffle plate and a connecting portion formed at one of two sides of the baffle plate and connected to the rear of the metallic shell. The rear cover plate is closeable and openable, so that the soldering condition between the first receptacle terminals and contacts of a circuit board can be checked when the rear cover plate is opened.
Abstract:
An electrical plug connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, and a grounding sheet. The insulated housing is received in a receiving cavity of the metallic shell and includes a mating room and side assembling cavities. The side assembling cavities are defined at two sides of the insulated housing and communicate with the mating room. The grounding sheet is at the insulated housing and in contact with the metallic shell. The grounding sheet includes a main body in the insulated housing, side arms extended toward the side assembling cavities from two sides of the main body, hook portions extended toward the mating room from the fronts of the side arms, and mounting legs extended from the rears of the side arms and protruded from the side assembling cavities.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing, upper-row receptacle terminals, and lower-row receptacle terminals. The insulated housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion extended from one side of the base portion. The tongue portion has an upper surface, a lower surface, and a front lateral surface. The lower-row receptacle terminals correspond to the upper-row receptacle terminals and include signal terminals which include high speed transmitting terminals. Each of the high speed transmitting terminals includes a bending portion, an extension portion, and a cutout portion. The bending portion is extended upward from the front end of the flat contact portion and inserted into the tongue portion, the extension portion is extended forward from the top of the bending portion toward the front lateral surface, and the cutout portion is defined at the extension portion and near to the bending portion.
Abstract:
An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing and a rear positioning block. The rear positioning block is assembled to the rear of the insulated housing. The rear positioning block includes a base and a gluing passage. The front of the base corresponds to the rear of the insulated housing. The width of the base is greater than the width of the insulated housing. The periphery of the base is protruded from the periphery of the insulated housing. The gluing passage is formed at a peripheral area of the base, and the gluing passage is defined through the base from the front to the rear.

Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing, plate terminals, and a metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a base portion. The plate terminals are at the insulated housing. The plate terminals include soldering segments exposed out of the bottom of the base portion. The metallic shell encloses four sides of the insulated housing and includes a top cover plate, a rear cover plate, and pins. The top cover plate is located atop the base portion. The rear cover plate is extending downwardly to the rear side of the base portion from the rear side of the top cover plate. The rear cover plate includes a bottom surface and a bent sheet substantially perpendicular to an outer wall of the rear cover plate and extended outward from the outer wall of the rear cover plate, and the pins are extending downwardly from the bottom surface.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector is disclosed. The electrical receptacle connector includes a plurality of upper-row receptacle terminals and lower-row receptacle terminals. The plurality of upper-row receptacle terminals and lower-row receptacle terminals have 180 degree symmetrical, dual or double orientation design which enable the electrical plug connector to be inserted into the electrical receptacle connector in either of two intuitive orientations. Each of the receptacle terminals includes a flat contact portion, a soldering portion and a connecting portion. The flat contact portion is extended from one end of the connecting portion, and the soldering portion is extended from the other end of the connecting portion. The width of the connecting portion is different from the width of the flat contact portion.
