Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, integrated circuits and computer readable storage media for configuring time sensitive communications (TSC). The configuring of the TSC includes monitoring, by a user plane function (UPF), a source and destination of packets in a first protocol data unit (PDU) session of a first user equipment (UE) and in a second PDU session of a second UE, pairing a first device side TSN translator (DS-TT) port of the first UE with a second DS-TT port of the second UE when the first PDU session and the second PDU session are served by the same UPF, wherein the pairing is based on the monitoring of the first and second PDU sessions and when the first DS-TT and second DS-TT ports are paired, communicating the packets between the first UE and the second UE in a UE-UE communication without traversing the TSN.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is associated with a cellular network, the UE and the cellular network are configured with a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) functionality, the DRX functionality including a cycle with a plurality of onDurations. The UE receives an indication of at least one parameter the cellular network is to utilize for the transmission of an emergency message, generates a monitoring schedule based on the indication of the at least one parameter, wherein the monitoring schedule does not include at least one of the plurality of onDurations and activates a mode of operation where the UE monitors for the emergency message based on the monitoring schedule.

Abstract: A base station may be configured to perform operations related to link management for a remote user equipment (UE). The operations comprising, transmitting configuration information to the remote UE and receiving information corresponding to a serving link associated with the remote UE. The operations further comprising determining that the serving link associated with the remote UE is to be switched from a first communication link to a second communication link. The operations further comprising, transmitting a message to the remote UE indicating that the serving link associated with the remote UE is to be switched from the first communication link to the second communication link. The operations further comprising, transmitting a message to a relay UE. The message is configured to trigger the relay UE to perform an operation corresponding to the serving link associated with the remote UE.

Abstract: A method performed by a station that includes receiving information from a cell of a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN), determining whether the information indicates the cell supports circuit switched fallback (CSFB) voice calls, when the CSFB voice calls are not supported, determining whether at least one packet switched voice property of the station satisfies a predetermined condition and attaching to the cell of the PLMN when the predetermined condition is satisfied. A further method performed by a station connected to a PLMN that includes identifying cells of the PLMN available for the station to camp on, determining whether the station is capable of executing packet switched calls, when the station is not capable of executing packet switched calls, determining whether the identified cells have a neighbor cell that supports CSFB voice calls and prioritizing the cells that are identified as having neighbor cells that support CSFB voice calls.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses and computer readable media are described that determine a connection state between a mobile wireless device and a wireless network upon detection of an interruption of a connection between the mobile wireless device and the wireless network. The mobile wireless device transmits an uplink resource allocation message to the wireless network, and when receiving no response to the uplink resource allocation message, transmits a random access message to the wireless network. When receiving no response from the wireless network to the random access message, the mobile wireless device executes a radio link failure procedure. In an embodiment, the uplink resource allocation message includes a unique identifier for an existing radio resource control connection between the mobile wireless device and the wireless network.
