摘要： An ophthalmic solution suitable for adjusting intraocular pressure comprising (A) an ophthalmologically acceptable, water-soluble salt of 2-acetyl-7-(2-hydroxy-3-isopropylaminopropoxy)benzofuran, (B) benzalkonium chloride or benzethonium chloride, and (C) a member selected from polyvinyl alcohol, methyl cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose and hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, the solution being adjusted to pH 5.0 to 8.0 with a buffer agent. The components (B) and (C) increase greately the intraocular penetration of the component (A) and reduce the irritation to eye of the component (A) so that the pharmacological action of the component (A) can be effectively exhibited. The ophthalmic solution produces an excellent effect on decreasing of intraocular pressure with reduced irritation to eye and stability for a long term.

摘要： Rubber-cord complex 9 having improved wet heat adhesive property between rubber and cord. The rubber-cord complex includes cord 10 comprising drawn plated wire 17 prepared by providing brass plated layer 16E on surface of element wire 15 and drawing the resulting plated wire and rubber 12 vulcanized and bonded to cord 10. The rubber-cord complex 9 has adhesion reaction layer 25 (formed by cross-linking sulfur and copper) between rubber 12 and brass plated layer 16E. Adhesion reaction layer 25 has average thickness of 50-1,000 nm. Interface S between adhesion reaction layer 25 and the rubber has a fractal dimension of 1.001-1.300 in a wet heat deterioration state after being subjected to vulcanization to bond rubber 12 thereto and being held at a temperature of 50-100° C. and a humidity of 60-100% for one hour to 20 days.

In case the cord is composed of only the zigzag filaments, the zigzag filaments include at least two kinds of zigzag filaments having different zigzag pitch lengths. In case the cord is composed of both the zigzag filaments and nonzigzag filaments, some of the zigzag and nonzigzag filaments are first loosely twisted together into a bunch, and then a plurality of bunches are twisted together into the cord. In any case, the zigzag pitch length and zigzag wave height of each zigzag filament are substantially constant along the length thereof. A Tire comprises a reinforcing layer such as a tread reinforcing belt layer, carcass, bead reinforcing layer and the like made of the above-mentioned steel cords.
