    摘要: A safety device of an electric circuit is provided, in which a thermal fuse securely prevents an accident from occurring when an overcurrent protector is extraordinarily overheated. The safety device includes: first protective means in an overcurrent protector for protecting the electric circuit from an overcurrent, which generates heat to increase its electrical resistance when an overcurrent flows in the electric circuit, whereby reducing or cutting off the overcurrent; and second protective means including a thermal fuse situated in the vicinity of the overcurrent protector containing: a first electrode having a first conductor pattern connected to the overcurrent protector; a second electrode having a second conductor pattern insulated from the first electrode by a gap; and solder connecting the first and second electrodes and melting by heat from the overcurrent protector so as to split into two parts toward the first and second electrodes. According to the safety device, the thermal fuse can quickly operate when the overcurrent protector is extraordinarily overheated and be easily formed by employing an automatic soldering machine and the like.

    摘要: A sensor structure which reduces the resistance of insertion in the course of insertion of a metallic terminal member into the hollow portion of an oxygen detection element so as to enable smooth assembly and such that portions of the metallic terminal member become less susceptible to plastic deformation. An attachment portion 23c of a metallic terminal member 23 is in contact with the inner wall surface of a hollow portion 2a of an oxygen detection element 2, directly or indirectly via another member, at opposite sides thereof located along the direction of contact. Also, a gap is formed between an attachment portion 23c and the inner wall surface at opposite sides of the attachment portion 23c located along the direction of gap formation. Thus, in the course of insertion of the metallic terminal member 23 into the hollow portion 2a of the oxygen detection element 2, the resistance of insertion decreases, whereby assembly can be performed smoothly, and portions of the metallic terminal member 23 become less susceptible to plastic deformation, such as crushing, bending, or buckling.

    摘要: A shaft-like heating member is inserted into and fixed to an oxygen sensing element of a hollowed shaft-like member, together with of a terminal member. A heating portion is located at a portion of the heating member closer to the extreme end thereof. The surface of the heating portion is resiliently pressed on the element inner wall in a side-abutting fashion. In this case, a guide mainly gives rise to the elastic force. With such a side-abutting structure, heat generated in the heating portion is directly transferred to the oxygen sensing element, and heats it. Heat radiated from a portion in the vicinity of its contact position additively heats the oxygen sensing element. Temperature of the oxygen sensor quickly reaches an activation temperature.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a contactless electric signal transmitter, which includes a rotator having an outer periphery formed with a space for housing a fold of a flat cable. A cover covers the space and fixes the fold therein. The space has both axial side walls formed with first engaging means, respectively. The cover has an outer cylindrical surface of the same curvature as the rotator periphery. The cover also has second engaging means for engagement with the first means, respectively, of the space. The cover may have a recess, through which the cable can extend out of the space. This structure makes it possible to fit the cable fold to the rotator simply and securely at low costs. One axial wall of the groove may have a recess formed in part of it. The recess has an axial slope extending between the outer periphery and the bottom of groove.

    摘要: An optical data communication system using an optical star repeater which converts an optical signal transmitted from a terminal unit into an electric signal, amplifies the electric signal, reconverts the amplified electric signal into an optical signal, and then distributes the optical signal to respective terminal units inclusive of the terminal unit which transmitted the optical signal. The star repeater includes collision detector means for detecting a collision condition in communication, and output control means for interrupting the distribution of the optical signal to the terminal units. The output control means is controlled by an output of collision detector means so that, in response to a collision, it is caused to cut off the signal distribution to the terminal units. Simultaneously with the cut-off of the signal distribution, a collision signal indicating the occurrence of a collision is distributed to the respective terminal units, whereby the terminal units can accurately and immediately detect the collision condition.

    摘要: A circuit body includes a flexible insulation sheet with an electric circuit pattern having wiring patterns and a temperature sensor arranged in the electric circuit pattern. The electric circuit pattern has a temperature-sensor connecting portion and a heat-concentrating pattern formed integrally with the temperature-sensor connecting portion so as to have a larger width than that of the wiring pattern. The temperature sensor is touched through the heat-concentrating pattern to an object to be measured. The wiring patterns and the heat-concentrating pattern are formed integrally on a primary surface of the insulation sheet by printing. An additional heat-concentrating pattern is further formed on a secondary surface of the insulation sheet at a position corresponding to the temperature-sensor connecting portion. The heat-concentrating patterns are bent integrally with the insulation sheet and touched to the object to be measured.
