摘要: A generator use gear enable to rotate freely against an input shaft of a transmission mechanism for altering a rotation number of an engine and a clutch mechanisms in which the input shaft of the transmission mechanism and the generator use gear are rotated together with are provided between the engine and the transmission mechanism. Further, on an extension line of the input of the transmission mechanism and to a rear portion of the transmission mechanism, an electric motor is provided. Accordingly, a compact size power transmission system of an automobile can be attained.

摘要: A control device for a vehicle which has a function to reduce the change-speed shock when changing the speed by controlling the transmission of the vehicle. The control device performs the switching between a manual change-speed mode in which the vehicle speed can be changed based on a change-speed command generated by manual operation and an automatic change-speed mode in which a transmission gear ratio can be controlled based on the predetermined change-speed characteristic. Thereby the reduction amount of the change-speed shock can be changed between the manual change-speed mode and the automatic change-speed mode.

摘要: A method for controlling a vehicle having a first clutch mounted between an engine and a gear drive transmission, and dog clutch type torque transmission means disposed between an input shaft and an output shaft of the gear drive transmission, and wherein the first clutch is controlled at starting the vehicle or at gear shifting, comprising the steps of controlling a transmission torque of the first clutch based on a difference between the engine speed/revolution speed of the input shaft at starting the vehicle so as to control a quantity of increase in a transmission torque of the first clutch in accordance with the value of the difference; and controlling the engine torque based on the transmission torque of the first clutch so as to increase the engine torque according to an increase in the transmission torque of the first clutch.

摘要: Disclosed is a transmission comprising a first power transfer path for transferring an output of an engine to a vehicle driving shaft through a planetary gear connected to a motor, a second power transfer path for transferring the output of the engine to the vehicle driving shaft through gears and, and a power transfer switch which switches over the first and second power transfer paths from one to the other. In a hybrid vehicle wherein an engine, a motor and a generator are connected to a planetary gear, a follow-up loss caused by the generator is avoided in the case where the engine stops and the vehicle travels with the motor alone. In high-speed running, it is avoided that an electric energy for stopping the rotation of the generator is consumed. Further, torque assist by the generator is not restricted by constraints of the planetary gear.

摘要: This invention provides a vehicle cruise control system which, during recognition of a shape of a road extending in a frontward direction of host vehicle, can calculate the road shape rapidly and accurately from a positional relationship with respect to the host vehicle. The system includes at least: a position change detector that detects, from information on the road existing in the frontward direction of the vehicle, a horizontal distance from a line segment orthogonal to a traveling direction vector of the vehicle, to a centerline of the road, the detection being conducted at a plurality of measuring points in an extending direction of the traveling direction vector; a road shape recognizer that identifies the shape of the road from data relating to linearity of changes in each of the horizontal distances, the linearity data being obtained by the position change detector; and a cruise controller that controls traveling of the vehicle according to results of the identification by the road shape recognizer.

摘要: A worsening of drivability is to be kept to a minimum by making a fail-safe control taking the state in the event of failure of a shifting operation into account. When clamping a sleeve to a free rotatable gear and during the period after instructing movement of the sleeve to a clamping position until movement of the sleeve to a predetermined positional range which makes it possible to judge that the sleeve has been clamped to the free rotatable gear, a pushing load for the sleeve is increased if the sleeve is in a fixed state near the balk ring, while if the sleeve is in a fixed state near the free rotatable gear, the sleeve is once returned to a neutral position thereof and is re-clamped to the free rotatable gear. Further, the number of times the sleeve is re-clamped to the free rotatable gear is counted and the use of the free rotatable gear is inhibited in accordance with the counted number of times.
