Abstract: A brake system for motor vehicles may include an actuation device (e.g., brake pedal), a travel simulator to generate a feedback force on the actuation device, a first piston-cylinder unit having at least one piston that separates two working chambers that are connected via at least one hydraulic line to at least one wheel brake of a brake circuit, a control device and a pressure supply unit driven by an electric motor. At least one wheel brake may be assigned to each brake circuit, and each wheel brake may be connected to its associated hydraulic connecting line via a controllable switching valve. An outlet valve may be assigned to a single wheel brake or to a single wheel brake of each brake circuit in a hydraulic connection between the wheel brake and a pressure medium storage container, without any further valve disposed as such.

Abstract: The invention relates to an actuating device for a motor vehicle brake, comprising the following components: an actuating device, in particular in the form of a brake pedal, a pressure supply device (11), in particular a reciprocating pump or double-acting reciprocating pump, driven by an electric motor drive (M), a piston-cylinder unit (main cylinder) (10) that can be actuated by means of the actuating device, that is connected hydraulically with a hydraulic fluid reservoir (BFR) and that forms at least two pressure chambers that are connected with hydraulic brake circuits, a valve assembly (HCU) with valves for adjusting brake pressures in a wheel-specific manner and for disconnecting or connecting the wheel brakes from or to the pressure supply device (11) and the piston-cylinder unit (10), an electronic control unit (ECU), at least one sensor device, having at least one sensor or evaluation element (3, 4, 5, 24, 24a) and a sensor target (5a, 23, 23a), preferably based on an electromagnetic principle, for sensing a movement of a device component. According to the invention,at least one sensor or evaluation element (3, 4, 5, 24, 24a) of the sensor device is arranged on or in the electronic control unit (ECU), in particular on a system printed circuit board (PCB) of the control unit (25), and that a movement of the device component (10; 45; 46; 48) is transmitted to the electronic control unit (ECU) (25) via a sensor actuating device, in particular via a mechanical actuating mechanism (17, 18, 19) or via a sensor target (5a, 23, 23a) connected with the device component and magnetic flux-conducting components (43, 43, a, 43b) based on ferromagnetic materials.

Abstract: A brake system includes two brake circuits having brake circuit lines for two vehicle axles and at least one hydraulic wheel brake in each brake circuit. Each wheel brake is connectable to a corresponding brake circuit or brake circuit line via a paired switch valve for pressure build-up and release in the wheel brake using a pressure supply device that can build up pressure in both brake circuits. At least one circuit separating valve blocks or releases a hydraulic connection line connecting the two brake circuits. At least one outlet valve connects an accumulator container to at least one brake circuit to release pressure. A master cylinder having only one working chamber is actuable by a brake pedal. The working chamber is connectable to the brake circuit line of a brake circuit. A switch valve is used to close or release the hydraulic line.

Abstract: A brake system may include an actuation device, in particular a brake pedal; a first piston-cylinder unit with two pistons, in particular an auxiliary piston and a second piston, in order to supply brake circuits with a pressure medium via a valve device, wherein one of the pistons, in particular the auxiliary piston, can be actuated by means of the actuation device; a second piston-cylinder unit comprising an electric motor-powered drive, a transmission, and at least one piston in order to supply pressure medium to at least one of the brake circuits via a valve device; and a motor pump unit with a valve device in order to supply pressure medium to the brake circuits.
