摘要: A semiconductor protection device for efficiently protecting internal circuits in semiconductor integrated circuits wherein an N-type diffusion layer is formed to enclose a P+ doped diffusion layer. The breakdown voltage of the parasitic diode connected to the collector electrode is consequently set lower than the breakdown voltage of the diode connected to the emitter voltage due to the increase in the concentration of N-type impurities around the parasitic diode from the forming of the N-type diffusion layer. In other words, the diode breakdown voltage is determined by the high or low concentration of impurities around the applicable diode so that the higher concentration of impurities, the lower the breakdown voltage. The clamping of the parasitic diode connected between the high voltage potential supply and the low voltage potential supply is therefore boosted to make electrical current flow more easily in the reverse direction so that damage to internal circuits from static electricity applied to the power supply terminals can be prevented.

摘要: An information processing apparatus operating as a content use management server is disclosed. The apparatus includes a storage unit for storing a license as information for granting rights to use content and content attribute information, and a data processing unit for carrying out a content state shifting process in which to shift content usable states. The content usable states are formed by a bound state and a discrete state. The bound state refers to the state in which the content is allowed to be used by any of member clients on a local network of which the content use management server is a part. The discrete state refers to the state in which the content is allowed to be used only by a member client retaining the license for granting rights to use the content. The data processing unit updates descriptive information on the license and the content attribute information stored in the storage unit in order to shift the two content states.

摘要: The present invention relates to a light ray shift element which provides controlled refraction of the incident ray and an optical axis displacement device using the above light ray shift element. An application of these optical devices to an interleave projection display system is demonstrated. The optical element is constructed from transparent flat plate materials containing a first optical medium and are disposed at a predetermined spacing along the optical axis. The orientation angle of the transparent flat plates with respect to the optical axis can be varied independently. A bulkhead consisting of the transparent flat plates and a second optical medium having an index of refraction different from the first optical medium, which is enclosed in a hermetic extendable seal, is utilized to provide light ray shift and optical axis displacement. By selecting the first and second optical media suitably, the angle of refraction of the incident ray can be controlled to optimize the quality of the image generated by the interleave projection system.

摘要: An optoelectronics device wherein a light-receiving element which defines a monitor light receiver and a semiconductor laser which generates a laser beam are hermetically sealed in the same package, and wherein the light-receiving surface of the element for measuring the output power of the beam of light emitted from the semiconductor laser is disposed so as to be inclined with respect to the light-emitting surface of the semiconductor laser. The wire bonding surface of the light-receiving element pellet-bonded to a stem and the wire bonding surface of the lead electrically connected to the light-receiving element through a wire are arranged so as to be parallel with each other. Thus, it is possible to support both the bonding surfaces horizontally at the same time. As a result, a bonding tool can be brought into perpendicular contact with each of the bonding surfaces, and this enables appropriate wire bonding to be effected.

摘要: A fluorescent lamp is disclosed which has a glass bulb with a coating layer of phosphor particles on the inner surface, the phosphor particles being covered by a protective layer consisting of a metal oxide. The phosphor particles are not in direct contact with the glass bulb by virture of the protective layer. Thus, it is possible to prevent the reduction of the mechanical strength of the bulb and reduction of the luminuous efficiency of phosphor due to interaction between the glass bulb and phosphor particles.
