    摘要: Disclosed herein is a separation column comprising a porous block covered with a coating wherein space-free adhesion is attainable therebetween by low temperature process without releasing octadecylsilyl bases and others from the porous block. A monolith rod 1 is covered with a metal or resin coating 2. Then, the monolith rod 1 covered by the coating 2 is further covered with a rod retainer 3 made of a low melting point metal (melting point 100-200 degrees C.) to form a column body 19. Since the rod retainer 3 is formed by pressure molding at low temperature (100-200 degrees C.). It is therefore possible to absorb the surface irregularities of the monolith rod 1 by the coating 2 while octadecylsilyl bases and others from are released when the retainer 3 is formed. This allows the potential separation ability of the porous block to be brought out maximally.

    摘要: The invention provides a pump for liquid chromatography excellent in feeding liquid stably at an extremely low flow rate with high accuracy and in discharging bubbles at startup.At startup, a first plunger feeds solvent at a large flow rate to discharge bubbles in a pump and to fill the solvent into the pump in a short time and in a normal operation, the first plunger is stopped and the second plunger is pushed into a second pressure chamber at a low speed to feed the solvent at a low flow rate. When the second plunger reaches full stroke, the second plunger is pulled back at a high speed and at the same time the first plunger is pushed into a first pressure chamber in synchronization with the pullback of the second plunger to control the flow rate passing a discharge passage to a constant value at all times by a controller. Further, while the second plunger feeds the solvent, the first plunger is slightly pushed into the first pressure chamber to keep pressure in the first pressure chamber at pressure equal to or less than pressure in the second pressure chamber.

    摘要: A slide vane type compressor comprises a cam ring formed with at least one working chamber and a rotor arranged in the at least one working chamber with an outer peripheral surface of the rotor being disposed close to an inner wall surface of the cam ring at least at one axial sealing portion thereof, with the rotor being formed vane grooves for respectively accommodating a plurality of vanes. At least one suction port introduces gas into the at least one working chamber, with the suction port having a suction terminal point angle extending from the axial sealing portion to a terminal point of the suction port, as viewed in the direction of rotation of the rotor. The suction terminal point angle of the suction port is greater than a geometrical suction terminal point angle geometrically determined in dependence upon the number of working chambers and the number of the plurality of vanes so that the suction terminal point angle of the suction port is advanced as compared with the geometrical suction terminal point angle.

The unevenness of injection rates of cylinders can be reduced by effecting a control such that the cam 100, which drives the high-pressure fuel pump 101, makes one reciprocation, while the engine makes explosions in two cylinders, and by causing the controller 55 to extend the injection time width of one of two injectors 54 which inject during one discharge of the high-pressure fuel pump and to shorten the injection time width of the other injector.
