A power distribution unit is inserted into and covers the side opening of the case in a vertical orientation. A side frame is connected to a perimeter of the power distribution unit and to the case for mounting the power distribution unit onto the case. The vertical orientation of the power distribution unit requires less horizontal space for the electrical connector box in a vehicle.

    摘要: A compositional range for a mother glass composition for graded index lenses which has a desired refractive index and is less apt to be devitrified and to develop cracks upon ion exchange was obtained by incorporating at least a given amount of one or more ingredients which are selected from oxides of metal elements ranging from yttrium, atomic number 39, to tantalum, atomic number 73, and which are less apt to cause glass coloration into a glass based on SiO2—TiO2—Li2O—Na2O and containing no lead oxide. In particular, a compositional range in which a large angular aperture is obtained and devitrification is less apt to occur was obtained by incorporating Ta2O5 and ZrO2 in a specific proportion and in specific amounts.

    摘要: A developing apparatus is equipped with a development casing, a development roller, and developer stirring shafts that rotate together with the development roller. In this developing apparatus, the developer stirring shafts are disposed adjacent to each other and are also disposed substantially in parallel with the development roller. Each developer stirring shaft has a rotational axis that rotates together with the development roller and has a plurality of stirring vanes of an approximately elliptic shape laid out at a predetermined angle with respect to the rotational axis. The rotational axis is provided substantially in parallel with the development roller. The stirring vanes are disposed substantially in parallel with each other, with the opposing stirring vanes between the adjacent developer stirring shafts having mutually different installation positions in the axial direction.

    摘要: A developer cartridge capable of being fitted to the toner replenishing opening of a developer storage hopper has a sealing member for sealing the toner therein that is bonded to the rim of its replenishing opening to be opposed to the opening of the developer storage hopper. The bottom face of this developer cartridge which constitutes the bottom for supporting the toner stored therein is inclined upwards in the stripping direction of the sealing member, whereby the supplied amount of the toner at the stripping start of the sealing member is regulated when the sealing member is stripped so that the toner can be uniformly supplied across the full length of the developer storage hopper with respect to the stripping direction of the sealing member.

    摘要: An electrical connection box includes a casing having an upper casing (10) and a lower casing (11). Terminal holes (19, 20) are formed on the outer wall of the casing. An insulating plate (12), mounted in the casing, has a several of wiring grooves (13) formed on at least one of its opposite faces (12a, 12b). Terminal driving portions (24 and 25), obtained by increasing a width of the wiring grooves (13), are provided at predetermined locations in the wiring grooves (13). Wires (14, 15) having first and second diameters are inserted into and held in the wiring grooves (13). Pressing contact terminals (16, 17) includes a pressing contact portion (16a, 17a) and an input-output terminal portion (16b, 17b) formed at its opposite ends, respectively. The pressing contact portions (16a, 17a) are driven into the terminal driving portions (24, 25) to connect through pressing contact to the wires (14, 15) held in the wiring grooves. The input-output terminal portions (16b, 17b) project out of each of the terminal holes (19, 20) to connect to an external circuit. The pressing contact portions (FIG. 46) may include notches (117g, 117h) that bite into the wiring groove as the pressing portions engage the wires and expand outwardly. Small-diameter wires 14 may engage shorter pressing contact terminals 16, while large-diameter wires 15 engage longer pressing contact terminals 17.

    摘要: Impurities contained in a developer are captured and prevented from mixing into the developer again, thereby to avoid lowering of image quality due to the impurities. Such impurities include aggregates of the developer formed in a developing apparatus, insufficiently charged toner particles, defectively charged toner particles having an opposite polarity to a predetermined polarity, and defective carrier particles lacking in strength for being held by a developing magnet roller. A recess is provided between peaks of magnetism located in a lower portion of a developing magnet roller. The recess has an air pressure substantially equal to an air pressure (atmospheric pressure) in the developing apparatus, so that air in the developing apparatus and the recess does not flow only in one direction. Impurities contained in the developer circulating around the developing roller cannot be magnetically held in the lower half of the developing roller because of centrifugal force and gravity. Consequently, the impurities are separated and collected in the recess.
