    摘要: A system for vending products at a vending site includes: (a) display sites displaying products at the vending site; (b) a code reader located at each display site; (c) an initiator associated with each display site; (d) a communication connection between each display site and at least one data collection locus; and (e) coded units used by shoppers; each coded unit being associated with a respective shopper. Each shopper indicating interest in a product by locating a coded unit within a predetermined range of a code reader at a display site for the product permitting wireless linking between the code reader and the coded unit. Actuation of an initiator at the display site while the coded unit is within the predetermined range effects communicating of predetermined information about the product and about the shopper via the communication connection to the at least one data collection locus.

    摘要: A switched mode power supply having a regulated reflected voltage. In one embodiment, a switched mode power supply includes a power supply regulator coupled between a positive input supply rail of the power supply and a primary winding of an energy transfer element. The reflected voltage across the primary winding of the transfer element is related to the output voltage across a secondary winding of the energy transfer element according to the turns ratio of the energy transfer element. The power supply regulator is coupled to regulate the reflected voltage across the primary winding, thereby regulating the output voltage across secondary winding. In one embodiment, the reflected voltage across the primary winding is sensed through a current representative of the reflected voltage received by the power supply regulator.

    摘要: A computing device includes an immersive environment module for facilitating simultaneous display of a plurality of applications on a display device without relying on system chrome. At least a first of the applications is displayed in a primary region of the display. The computing device also includes a UI management component for enabling a user selection of an application for simultaneous display on the display device with at least one other application. Processing logic is configured to determine a size in at least one direction of content of a user-selected application as it is displayed on a non-primary region of the display device simultaneous with display of content of the first application on the primary region of the display device. The determination is based at least in part on one or more pre-defined size requirements specified by the selected application.
