    摘要: In a valve timing controlling apparatus having: a first rotary body rotatable with a cam shaft of an internal combustion engine; a second rotary body rotatable with a crank shaft and rotatable relative to the first rotary body; a controlling means for varying relative rotational phase between the first rotary body and the second rotary body; and a torsion coil spring for urging the first rotary body relative to the second rotary body in a phase advancing direction. The coil portion 22 of the torsional coil spring 20 includes a pair of holding areas 23a, 23b extending continuously from the respective retaining portions and capable of fixing the coil portion in position relative to the first rotary body 1 and the second rotary body 2 and includes also a torque generating area 25 disposed between the pair of holding area. The holding areas and the torque generating area have different coiling diameters.

    摘要: An apparatus for controlling an internal combustion engine equipped with a variable valve timing control device includes the variable valve timing control device for restricting a relative rotation between a crankshaft and an exhaust camshaft at a starting of the internal combustion engine at a most advanced angle phase or at an intermediate angle phase between the most advanced angle phase and a most retarded angle phase. An apparatus for controlling an internal combustion engine equipped with a variable valve timing control device further includes a throttle valve control means for controlling an opening of the throttle valve provided at an intake passage of the internal combustion engine. The throttle valve control means controls the throttle valve to be opened when the internal combustion engine is started, thereby to restrict the relative rotation between the crankshaft and the exhaust camshaft.

    摘要: A variable valve timing system includes a hydraulic pressure circuit for controlling an operation fluid supply/discharge of the relative rotation controlling mechanism and for controlling an operation fluid supply/discharge of each of the advanced angle chamber and the retarded angle chamber. The hydraulic pressure circuit, upon initiation of the internal combustion engine, discharges the operation fluid from the relative rotation controlling mechanism and the advanced and retarded angle chambers until a pressure of the operation fluid reaches a controllable pressure value. The hydraulic pressure circuit, after the pressure of the operation fluid reaches the controllable pressure value, effecting filling of one of the advanced and retarded angle chambers which is at the superior side of in phase transfer response with operation fluid, subsequently effecting filling of the other of the advanced and retarded angle chambers, and being adapted to supply the operation fluid to the relative rotation controlling mechanism.

    摘要: A PLL frequency synthesizer includes a reset circuit which determines whether or not an oscillator starts to normally generate an oscillation signal in response to a power save signal which intermittently operates the oscillator in a standby mode and which outputs a reset signal to a prescaler when it is determined that the oscillator normally generates the oscillation signal. A hold circuit prevents a frequency-divided signal being output from the prescaler to a programmable counter and an initial phase detection circuit until the prescaler is reset to an initial state in response to the reset signal and starts to normally generate the frequency-divided signal.
