摘要： A packet transfer scheme in a network system capable of realizing a high speed, large capacity inter-network communication under an internet environment. A network interconnection apparatus (router) has a memory for storing a correspondence relationship between a virtual connection used in receiving a packet from one logical network and a virtual connection used in transmitting a packet to another logical network, and a transfer at a datalink layer is carried out according to the registered correspondence relationship, to effectively form a bypass pipe capable of transferring a packet by an datalink layer level processing alone over a plurality of networks from the transmission terminal to the destination terminal, so that a high speed packet transfer between networks can be realized.

A communication device constituting each node is formed by at least one communication unit for carrying out communications through a connected network, having communication ports for connecting nodes through which data are to be exchanged by the nodes, and a configuration information memory unit for storing a configuration information regarding a configuration of the communication device, having a region for dynamically describing a location information regarding a physical location of the communication device. At a managing node, a configuration information of a connected network and a location information regarding a physical location of a prescribed node connected to the network are collected, and physical locations of other nodes/services that are connected to the prescribed node are managed by regarding the other nodes/services as existing at an identical physical location as the physical location of the prescribed node as specified by the location information.

Then, whether or not to permit the set up of the requested label switching path is judged by comparing the starting point information contained in the request message with the stored policy information, and the requested label switching path through the router device for the desired packet stream indicated by the stream information contained in the request message is set up when the set up of the requested label switching path is judged as permitted. Instead of the starting point information, a neighbor information, a stream information, or an ending point information may be used.

摘要： The present invention relates to a speed change control apparatus for controlling the speed change of an engine without using a clutch. In this apparatus, a mechanical transmission comprising a plurality of gears and having a neutral position provided between a main motor for running and a driving wheel. Speed change of the engine is performed as follows. First, the rotation speeds of the driving wheel (namely, the drive shaft) and the main motor are detected. Then, the main motor is operated without load. When the motor starts an no-load operation, the gears of a transmission are disengaged. Thus, the transmission is shifted to the neutral position. Subsequently, the rotation speed of the main motor is controlled so that the gears are engaged when both the rotation speeds of the wheel and the motor are nearly synchronized with each other.

摘要： A developer replenishing device for replenishing a developing device with a developer, and a developer container for use therewith. The developer container, or toner bottle, has a mouth portion at one end thereof which is smaller in diameter than a hollow cylindrical main body. At the end of the bottle provided with the mouth, a shoulder has the inner periphery thereof partly raised to the edge of the mouth portion to form a raised portion for scooping up a toner. In addition, a part of the inner periphery of the circumferential wall of the bottle which is contiguous with the raised portion is also raised toward the axis of the bottle about which the bottle is rotatable, thereby forming another raised portion. When the bottle is mounted to a bottle holder, which is included in the replenishing device, substantially horizontally with the mouth portion oriented sideways, the bottle is rotated to raise the toner from the bottom of the main body to the mouth portion. As a result, the toner is discharged to the outside via the mouth portion smoothly.
