    摘要: Provided is a power supply unit that notifies the third person that the electric apparatus is in the state prohibiting introduction into vehicle and also make the electric apparatus in the state safely introducible into vehicle at the same time.The power supply unit comprises an introduction-detecting button for detecting introduction of an electric apparatus into vehicle previously, a voltage-detecting unit for detecting the voltage of the power source, a memory unit for storing a control-initiating voltage and a control-terminating voltage lower than the control-initiating voltage, and a control unit for determining, when introduction into vehicle is detected previously with an introduction-detecting button, whether the voltage of the power source detected by the voltage-detecting unit is not lower than the control-initiating voltage, supplying power from the power source to the LED if the voltage of the power source is judged not lower than the control-initiating voltage, causing the LED to notify that the electric apparatus is in the state prohibiting introduction into vehicle, and forcibly discharging the power source until the voltage of the power source reaches the control-terminating voltage.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a method for manufacturing an electrode for a battery by filling an active material into a three-dimensional porous metal substrate sheet and cutting said sheet to a certain size, comprising the steps of: pressing the portion to be cut and the periphery thereof in the substrate sheet; coating the portion to be cut and the periphery thereof in the substrate sheet with a resin; and/or impregnating the portion to be cut and the periphery thereof in the substrate sheet with a liquid containing a resin component, in addition to the steps of: filling an active material into the substrate sheet; and cutting the substrate sheet at the portion to be cut. This method prevents the occurrence of burrs and cuttings while the sheet is being cut and the coming off of the active material, thereby suppressing internal short circuit of the battery. As a result, a battery hardly suffering from a deterioration in preservation performance and charge-discharge cycle life can be obtained.

    摘要: Disclosed is an alkaline storage battery, in which the negative electrode is constituted by a hydrogen absorbing alloy capable of absorbing/desorbing hydrogen electrochemically, and a hydrophobic material is provided in the space between the surface of the negative electrode and the separator while a hydrophilic material is provided in the inside of the negative electrode, thereby properly secure both wetting property and surface hydrophobic property of the negative electrode against the alkaline electrolytic solution. Accordingly, a hydrogen gas generated in charging the battery can be absorbed by a vapor phase reaction in the hydrophobic portion in the surface of the negative electrode which is exposed to the vapor phase and can be absorbed electrochemically in the portion of the negative electrode which is wetted by the electrolytic solution, so that the inner pressure of the battery can be reduced to thereby make it possible to perform quick charging.
