    Abstract: A toy with an exterior structure. Constructed to transform from a rollable first shape to a second shape. An interior structure inside the exterior structure is endowed with a magnetic body that moves by way of a magnetic force that acts from the exterior of the toy, an interior locking portion that moves simultaneously with the movement of this magnetic body, and a biasing member that effects a force which moves or turns this interior locking portion in a particular direction. If the magnetic force does not act from the exterior of the toy, the first shape of the exterior structure maintained. In the event that a magnetic force has acted from the exterior of the said toy, the exterior structure transforms from the first shape to the second shape.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a corrected exhaust gas pressure loss calculation device which corrects an exhaust gas pressure loss that varies from moment to moment in accordance with engine operating conditions to a corrected exhaust gas pressure loss that can be used directly in control. The present invention converts an exhaust gas pressure into the corrected exhaust gas pressure loss, which is an exhaust gas pressure loss under a reference condition, from a relationship between an exhaust gas mass flow rate and an exhaust gas mass flow rate under the reference condition, a relationship between an exhaust gas temperature and an exhaust gas temperature under the reference condition, a relationship between the exhaust gas pressure and an exhaust gas pressure under the reference condition, and a relationship between an exhaust gas viscosity coefficient under a condition of the exhaust gas temperature and a viscosity coefficient of a viscous gas under the reference condition.

    Abstract: In order to provide a toy that increases the commercial value of the toy, imparts fresh wonderment and intellectual excitement to the user, and employs a simple structure with a suppressed number of parts, thus making it possible to reduce manufacturing costs and the number of manufacturing processes, the toy (1) comprises: an external component (2), provided with a hole (10) on the lower portion thereof, that maintains a substantially spherical shape and is provided with a housing space formed on the interior thereof; a lower component (3) disposed such that it can move between the inside and the outside of the housing space through the hole (10), and is disposed such that, when inside the housing space, the lower surface thereof aligns with the surface of the external component (2) and the toy (1) forms a substantially spherical shape; a locking means; a magnetic body disposed inside the lower component (3); and an elastic component. When no magnetic force acts between an external magnetic component and the magnetic body, the elastic force of the elastic component is resisted and the lower component (3) is retained inside the housing space by means of the locking means, by means of which the substantially spherical shape is maintained. When a magnetic force has acted between an external magnetic components and the magnetic body, the locking means is released and the lower component (3) rushes out from the hole (10).

    Abstract: An agitation method for mixing a solution and a solvent to precipitate a solid substance from the solution. The method includes preparing an agitation mixer including an agitation vessel, an impeller rotated in the agitation vessel, and a feed pipe connected to the agitation vessel and having a multiple pipe structure including an outer pipe and an inner pipe arranged in the outer pipe. A shearing clearance is formed in the agitation vessel between the impeller and the feed pipe.     Abstract: A method for measuring an acrolein adduct present in a sample comprising the steps of: (a) mixing a sample containing the acrolein adduct with a solution comprising an immunoglobulin that specifically recognizes the acrolein adduct; (b) adding to the mixture obtained in the step (a), a solution comprising microparticles to which a substance that specifically binds to the immunoglobulin that specifically recognizes the acrolein adduct and a blocking agent have been bound, and mixing them; and (c) measuring an extent of an agglutination reaction of the microparticles in the mixture obtained in the step (b), wherein the extent of the agglutination reaction being decreased relative to an amount of the acrolein adduct in the sample. The method enables a measurement of an acrolein adduct without requiring a complex operation.
