摘要: The present invention relates to a substrate processing apparatus useful for plating a substrate or processing a substrate by dipping a substrate in a processing liquid. A substrate processing apparatus of the present invention includes: a loading/unloading area for carrying in and out a substrate; a cleaning area for cleaning the substrate; and a plating area for plating the substrate. The loading/unloading area is provided with a substrate transfer robot having a plurality of hands of dry-use design, a loading port mounted with a cassette for housing substrates, and a reversing machine of dry-use design for reversing the substrate from face up to face down.

摘要: An insertion device for an intraocular lens includes a lens-holding section having a cavity for accommodating an intraocular lens, a deforming section for deforming the lens to a reduced size, an insertion tube through which the deformed lens is inserted into an eye, a pusher mechanism for pushing and inserting the lens into the eye, and a lens-moving mechanism for moving the lens from a standby position to an insertion position at which the pusher mechanism can push and insert the lens into the eye. A lubricant is injected into the interior of the insertion tube and/or the cavity of the lens-holding section for smooth insertion of the lens. The insertion device has an indicating mark for indicating quantity of the injected lubricant. Further, the insertion device includes an erroneous operation prevention member for preventing accidental operation of the lens-moving mechanism.

摘要: There is provided a metal hydride negative electrode having excellent discharge characteristics at the beginning of a charge and discharge cycle, excellent gas absorptivity during charge, and an excellent cycle life, and a method for producing the same without the need of any complicated producing processes. The metal hydride negative electrode (1) is used for a nickel hydride cell, and comprises a substrate (2) and a negative electrode plate (3) which is formed by applying a hydrogen absorbing alloy composition containing a hydrogen absorbing alloy powder, a conductive material, a binder and a dispersing agent on the substrate, wherein the negative electrode plate has a surface portion (4) which has a predetermined water repellent rate and a plurality of convex portions.

摘要: An insertion device can deform a deformable intraocular lens into a smaller size and insert the intraocular lens into the eye. The insertion device includes a device body; an insertion tube attached to a front end of the device body and adapted to be inserted into the eye; and a push rod axially movable within the device body and the insertion tube and adapted to insert the intraocular lens into the eye when advanced. A drive member is rotatably provided at a rear end of the push rod. A motion conversion mechanism is disposed between the device body and the drive member and is adapted to axially move the drive member, upon rotation of the drive member, in order to axially move the push rod. A push member is provided at the rear end of the push rod and projects rearward from the drive member.

摘要: An insertion device for inserting a deformable intraocular lens into the eye. The insertion device has a an enclosing member that is attached to the body of the insertion device and that has two hinge portions at a lens receiving section. Further, a retainer member is fitted onto the enclosing member and a holder fitted onto the body. The deformable intraocular lens is placed in the lens receiving section after the enclosing member is opened. When the holder is retracted, the intraocular lens is deformed by a tapered inner wall portion formed at a the tip end of the holder, so that the exterior size of the lens is reduced. Subsequently, a push rod supported by the body is advanced in order to insert the lens into the eye.
