摘要: A method is presented for reducing the light output capacity of light emitting components (C1, C2, C3), each with a different absorption band, of an OLED device (1). By irradiating at least a portion of each light emitting component (C1, C2, C3) with light (L) having a wavelength within at least one of the absorption bands, the light output capacity of the irradiated portion (P, P1, P2, P3) of each organic light emitting component having a light absorption band in which the wavelength of the light (L) is included is reduced. An OLED device (1) is also presented.

摘要: A light emitting device (100) is provided, comprising a substrate (101), a first electrically conductive layer (102), a light emitting layer (103), and a second electrically conductive layer (104). The light emitting device (100) further comprises at least one metal shunt (105) which is in electrical contact with said first electrically conductive layer (102). The at least one metal shunt (105) is isolated from said second electrically conductive layer (104) at least by means of a dielectric oxide layer (106). The present invention allows for the use of electrically insulating material between one or more metal shunts and a cathode layer without reducing the effective pixel area of the device.

摘要: The invention relates to a display panel (2) comprising a plurality of display pixels (3) with at least one light emissive layer (10) and at least one electrode layer (7) deposited on or over said light emissive layer. A first display pixel (3A) is determined by a first barrier structure (20) and a second display pixel (3B), adjacent to said first display pixel, is determined by a second barrier structure (21). The first barrier structure and second barrier structure are separated by an electrically conductive structure (22) in electrical contact with the electrode layer. Accordingly, space is available between the barrier structures (20,21) for electrical shunting of the electrode layer (7). The invention further relates to an electric device comprising such a display panel and a method for manufacturing a display panel.

This structure allows for a thin integrated device. The present invention also relates to a method for the manufacturing of such an integrated device.

摘要: An active matrix display includes a display element for producing a visual output when the display element is driven with a constant current, and drive circuitry for controllably driving a substantially constant current through the display element. The drive circuitry includes a two-transistor inverter having an inverter input and a common node output, and the common node output of the inverter is connected, directly or indirectly, to supply or control the current passing through the corresponding display element.

摘要: An electroluminescent device (1) comprising a lower electrode layer (10), and an upper electrode layer (2), which are both connectable to a driving circuit (3) and electrically accessible from below, is disclosed. One or more functional layers (5) are disposed between the electrode layers (2, 10) to form an electroluminescent area The device (1) comprises a relief pattern comprising insulating positively sloped ribs (7), in-between which a well (13) is formed. The upper electrode layer (2) has an extension over at least one positively sloped rib (7), and the well (13) is arranged on a first side (7), and a contact surface (4) is arranged on a second side (7″) of the positively sloped rib (7). The extension of the upper electrode layer (2) provides for at least part of said contact surface (4) being covered by said upper electrode layer (2). Thereby, the upper electrode layer (2) becomes accessible from below in the contact surface (4). The device (1) may be used for structured cathodes in active matrix displays, and/or for reducing the sheet resistance in transparent/semi-transparent cathodes.

摘要: The invention relates to method for manufacturing an electronic device comprising an organic layer (120). According to this method, a stack with a metal layer (130) and an organic layer (120) as first and second outer layers is structured by etching both these outer layers. In one particular embodiment, an additional metal layer (140) may be generated on the outermost metal layer (130) by galvanic growth through a structured isolation 10 layer (150). After removal of said isolation layer (150), the metal (130) may be etched in the openings of the additional metal layer (140). In a further etching step, the organic material (120) may be removed in said openings, too.
