摘要: A rotator mechanism has a frame, a rotating member and a bearing. The rotating member has a center rod and is rotatable along its axis. The bearing has a bearing portion for supporting the center rod, and a clasping portion for elastically clasping onto the frame. In assembly, first the center rod of the rotating member is positioned into the bearing portion of the bearing. Then, the clasping portion of the bearing is made to elastically clasp onto the frame, whereby the bearing is firmly attached to the frame. In disassembly, the rotating member is easily removed from the frame by detaching the clasping portion from the frame. The rotator mechanism can be applied in a sorter of an image forming apparatus.

摘要: In a user interface that can identify concurrent pointing at a plurality of given positions on a screen, after detecting that a plurality of pointed positions are concurrently present in a display range of one object on a screen, whether or not an operation of moving the other pointed positions is performed, while keeping at least one pointed position among the plurality of pointed positions, is determined. Then, if it is determined that this operation is performed, the processing that is to be executed is decided based on the number of kept pointed positions and the number of moved pointed positions, and the decided process is executed on the object.

摘要: A document management apparatus, which converts management of documents managed using a folder tree to management using search folders, newly defines attributes of documents included in respective hierarchies of the folder tree as a conversion source. To each document which belongs to the folder tree, a name of a folder in an upper hierarchy, which stores that document, is assigned as an attribute value of the defined attribute. Each folder which configures the folder tree is converted into a search folder which can search for documents assigned with the attribute values using the name of that folder as a search condition.

摘要: A fluid passage closure system in a compressor includes a fluid passage, a seal cap unit and a flow space. The fluid passage formed in the housing of the compressor includes a large-diameter and the small-diameter passages, a step formed between the large-diameter and the small-diameter passages and a flat portion formed in the step. The large-diameter passage is formed on the opening side of the fluid passage and connected to the small-diameter passage. The seal cap unit closing the fluid passage includes a flat sealing surface and a press-contact surface. The flat sealing surface is in contact with the flat portion to close the fluid passage. The press-contact surface is formed to be pressed against the peripheral wall surface so that the seal cap unit is kept in the fluid passage. The flow space is formed between the press-contact surface and the peripheral wall surface.
