摘要: A position sensing device and method are provided for executing correction processing based on a reliability and error index of each component of GPS output data to increase positioning accuracy. Correction processing is performed to correct a position determination result obtained through dead reckoning, and a vehicle speed, a pitch angle, and a sensor mounting angle used in position determination executed through dead reckoning in a measurement period of GPS in accordance with direction-specific positional components and speed components of a vehicle, which are measured with GPS to determine a reliability of each of the direction-specific positional components and speed components of the vehicle and calculate an error index of a component determined to be a reliable component, to set the degree of contribution of a measurement component determined to be unreliable to correction processing to zero or almost zero, and to reduce the degree of contribution of a measurement component determined to be reliable to correction processing in accordance with a value of the error index.

摘要: A vehicle travel amount estimation device includes a camera, a taken image storing unit, a compensated image storing unit, a travel amount calculation unit, a vehicle speed and gyro sensor, and a travel amount determination unit. The taken image storing unit and the compensated image storing unit store images taken by the camera. The travel amount calculation unit calculates the amount of travel based on two stored images. The sensors detect the amount of travel of the vehicle. The travel amount determination unit is configured to compare a first amount of travel calculated by the travel amount calculation unit with a second amount of travel detected by the vehicle speed sensor or the like in order to determine the first amount of travel to be the amount of travel of the vehicle when the difference between the first amount and the second amount is smaller than a predetermined value.

摘要: A relay device 100 transmits, when receiving the Hyper Frame (HFN) from a RE30, the predetermined information, such as control information included in the received Hyper Frame by including the predetermined information in the frame to be transmitted from a relay device 100 to a REC21. Specifically, the relay device 100 transmits the predetermined information by including the predetermined information in the Hyper Frame to be transmitted to the REC 21 within a predetermined time period after a time point at which the Hyper Frame is received from the RE30. Further, the RE30 transmits the Hyper Frame to the relay device 100 in a cycle shorter than a transmission cycle of the Hyper Frame to be set in a case where the RE30 is directly connected to the REC21.
