A heat-sealing device is capable of properly changing a pushing force applied from the heat-sealing roll to the packing film in accordance with the feeding rate of the packing film. A heat-sealing device for holding an elongated packing film with a pair of heat sealing rolls arranged in parallel to each other to form a heat sealed portion includes a pushing means made of a first cylinder and a second cylinder for holding the packing film with the heat-sealing rolls by pushing through an action of fluid pressure, a fluid pressure controlling means capable of adjusting the fluid pressure of the pushing means, and a superior controlling means for rendering a total value of pushing forces of the first cylinder and second cylinder into a proper pushing force and operating one or both of the first cylinder and the second cylinder in accordance with the feeding rate of the packing film.

A feeding unit for receiving sealed packs of pourable food products from a forming unit arranged to form the packs and feed the packs to a folding unit arranged to fold the packs so as to obtain folded packages, the feeding unit comprising a feeding conveyor to carry the packs towards the folding unit, wherein the feeding unit further comprises a driving arrangement interacting with the packs so as to pull the packs from the forming unit and push the packs towards the feeding conveyor.

The present invention relates to a wrapping device (1) configured to wrap a bale (12) with a wrapping material (2), wherein the device (1) comprises a wrapping unit (3) which is rotatable clockwise and counterclockwise and which is configured to wrap part of the bale by rotating the wrapping unit (3) counterclockwise around the bale and to wrap another part of the bale by rotating the wrapping unit (3) clockwise around the bale. By means of such a device, it is possible to wrap a bale without using a welding device. By means of such a device, it is also possible to use not readily weldable wrapping material (such as e.g. tape fabric made from PP or PE).

A strap sealing module is provided. The strap sealing module includes a moving cutter having a first shearing surface and a first dovetail member and a bearing plate having a second dovetail member. The first dovetail member is matingly and slidably coupled with the second dovetail member to slidably couple the moving cutter to the bearing plate. The machine also includes a stationary cutter fixedly secured to the bearing plate, the stationary cutter having a second shearing surface. A strap feed path is defined between the moving cutter and the stationary cutter. The moving cutter is slidable along the bearing plate in a first direction toward the stationary cutter so as to overlap the stationary cutter by a predetermined clearance in a cutting position and slidable in a second direction away from the stationary cutter to a retracted position.
