摘要: A system and method for a distributed smart power and storage transfer architecture. An embodiment includes a stored power transfer control system comprising a remote monitoring processor located remotely from a plurality of sites, wherein the plurality of sites are connected to a distribution line. The stored power transfer control system further includes a plurality of energy storage systems distributed across the plurality of sites and a plurality of power control modules distributed across a plurality of sites. At least one of the plurality of power control modules is configured to receive, by a first communication bus, a data telegram from a monitoring processor and forward, by the first communication bus, the data telegram to a connected power control module. Further the at least one of the plurality of power control modules is configured to supply the distribution line with power output by a respective energy storage system according to the data telegram.

摘要: An energy storage system includes an energy storage provided in a transportation unit, a connector electrically connectable to an external power transmission management apparatus, a power transmission circuit, and a processor. The processor is configured to control the power transmission circuit in accordance with an output from the external power transmission management apparatus to perform power transmission between the energy storage and an external power system, and control the power transmission circuit in accordance with an output from the external power transmission management apparatus, if a degree of variation in charging states in the energy storage and one or more external energy storages is greater than or equal to a threshold value, to perform power transmission between the energy storage and the one or more external energy storages to reduce the degree of variation before performing the power transmission between the energy storage and the external power system.

摘要: A power-system management system and a method thereof, which generally manage congestion of a power system by relieving a power transmission line from being overloaded when the power transmission line is overloaded due to a rapid increase in load or the occurrence of credible accidents in the power system. To relieve the overload of the transmission line, the amount of power generated by a generator may be reduced, energy may be supplied from an energy storage device to the transmission line, or those two methods may be used together. There is provided a method of quantitatively calculating the amount of a generator's generated power desired to be reduced and the amount of power to be supplied from the energy storage device to the transmission line, in order to relieve the overload of the transmission line.

摘要: Provided is a power adjustment device capable of adjusting the supply and demand of electric power with appropriate timing using a power storage device. The power adjustment device (10) has a difference estimation unit (12), a charging/discharging power amount calculation unit (14), and an instruction unit (16). The difference estimation unit (12) estimates a first difference between a power generation amount and a power consumption amount during a predetermined first period in intervals of time shorter than the first period. The charging/discharging power amount calculation unit (14) calculates a charging/discharging power amount, which is an amount of electric power to be charged to or discharged from a power storage device (20), on the basis of the estimated first difference and the remaining time to the end of the first period. The instruction unit (16) instructs the power storage device (20) to charge or discharge a power amount that corresponds to the calculated charging/discharging power amount.

摘要: Disclosed herein are representative embodiments of methods, apparatus, and systems for charging and discharging an energy storage device connected to an electrical power distribution system. In one exemplary embodiment, a controller monitors electrical characteristics of an electrical power distribution system and provides an output to a bi-directional charger causing the charger to charge or discharge an energy storage device (e.g., a battery in a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV)).The controller can help stabilize the electrical power distribution system by increasing the charging rate when there is excess power in the electrical power distribution system (e.g., when the frequency of an AC power grid exceeds an average value), or by discharging power from the energy storage device to stabilize the grid when there is a shortage of power in the electrical power distribution system (e.g., when the frequency of an AC power grid is below an average value).
