A mold release liner for a heated pressure mold for making products such as printed circuit boards is preferably made without polymer films or chemical release agents utilizing two or more wet-laid fiber layers of cellulose or cellulose derivative fibers (such as wood, cotton, cellulose acetate, or rayon fibers, or mixtures of these). The first layer has a sufficiently low density so that it acts as a cushion and absorbs deformation when used as a release liner in the mold (typically it has a thickness of between 8-250 mils, most desirably 40-90 mils, and a basis weight of about 25-350 pounds per ream, most desirably 130-160 pounds per ream). A second layer is of much higher density than the first layer and readily releases from the molds, for example comprising condenser tissue or a similar product, having a thickness of between 0.5-10 mils and a basis weight of 4-50 pounds per ream of 500 sheets. The first and second layers are in face-to-face engagement with each other, and may be adhesively laminated together with sheet, spray, liquid, or powder adhesive. A third layer, substantially like the second layer but on the opposite side of the first face, may also be provided.

There is provided a nonwoven fabric laminate having cross-directional stretch properties. The laminate is comprised of at least three layers. The outer layers are spunbond nonwoven fiber webs which are made of crimped or crimpable fibers. The inner layer is an elastomeric polymer layer which may itself be composed of one or more thinner layers. The layers are preferably produced by sequentially depositing them onto a moving forming wire and bonding them together by a method excluding hydroentanglement to form the laminate.

The polyimide foam skeleton prevents sagging particularly in crown and upper sidewall areas of an aircraft thereby maintaining a predetermined offset from the skin fuselage reducing corrosion of the primary structure from moisture condensate. A novel multilayered sleeve-like printing blanket is mountable on gapless cylinders or tubular blanket carriers, thereby minimizing vibration when operated at high rotational speeds. An exemplary printing blanket comprises a seamless outer printing surface layer; at least one reinforced elastomer layer, the elastomer layer being reinforced by fibers substantially parallel with the inward and outward sides of the cylindrical tube defined by the reinforced elastomer layer; and a resiliently compressible layer. The oriented fibers reinforce the elastomer layer such that the modulus of elasticity in the circumferential direction of rotation is increased. Exemplary methods for forming one or more of the layers are also disclosed herein.

The panel was formed in a mould shaped to form a flange around the panel, the flange being formed by adherence of the edges of the first and second layers to each other.The panel is made by placing a layer of settable phenolic resin impregnated glass fibre mat in the mould, applying a foamable mixture of phenolic resin to said first layer and covering the foamable resin with a second layer of settable phenolic resin impregnated glass fibre mat before closing the mould. Foaming of the phenolic resin starts very quickly and when more or less completed, the mould is passed into an oven to set the phenolic resin in the outer layers.

The invention comprises a built-up roof material that has a composite membrane that is formed and affixed to the roof substrate in a single step. The membrane comprises a sheet of heat-resistant, non-woven polyester sandwiched between layers of asphalt. The upper asphalt layer is caused to flow through the polyester and meld with the lower layer of asphalt to form a homogeneous composite.
