    Abstract: The rotor for a squirrel-cage asynchronous rotating electrical machine comprises two compaction elements clamping a cylindrical magnetic mass, short-circuit rings facing the face of the compaction elements opposite that in contact with the magnetic mass, and conductive bars housed in recesses in the magnetic mass and distributed evenly over at least one diameter of the magnetic mass such that the short-circuit rings and the conductive bars form a squirrel cage.
    Retaining means distributed over at least one diameter of each short-circuit ring and over at least one diameter of each compaction element interact so as to secure the short-circuit rings and the compaction elements together, the pitch circle diameters of the retaining means on the rings and the compaction elements being smaller than the pitch circle diameter of the conductive bars.

    Abstract: An electrical power generator for a wind turbine comprising: a generator housing, a stator at a radially outward position and a rotor in a radially inward position, wherein the rotor comprises a cylindrical ring structure arranged about a rotational axis, R, and defining a central hollow portion. The electrical power generator further comprises a rotor shroud attached to the generator housing and which extends about the rotational axis, R, wherein the rotor shroud includes a dome portion that extends into the central hollow portion of the rotor so as to protect the cylindrical ring structure of the rotor. Advantageously, the rotor shroud provides a tunnel-like surface that extends into the central hollow portion of the generator so as to prevent objects such as tools from contacting components of the rotor.     Abstract: The disclosure relates to an electrical machine for a drive system of an electrically driven aircraft and its winding system. In particular, the disclosure relates to an interconnection unit for interconnecting the windings of the winding system. For electrically connecting winding arrangements of the winding system, the interconnection unit has a connection arrangement with large number of contact points which are configured and arranged on the interconnection unit such that these contact points of the interconnection unit may be connected to contact points of the winding arrangements to be contact-connected. The connection arrangement furthermore has a large number of electrical connection sections, wherein a respective connection section connects two of the contact points to one another. This interconnection unit may be contact-connected by way of its contact points to corresponding contact points of the winding arrangements, so that a desired winding system may be constructed in a simple manner.

    Abstract: A method is provided for producing a winding (1) for an electric machine (10). The winding (1) has conductor elements (2) and two conductor ends (3) of different conductor elements (2) are bonded electrically with one another at a bonding point (4). The method includes arranging at least one material reservoir (5) on the conductor ends (3) to be bonded prior to generating the bonding point (4). The method then includes generating the bonding point (4) by joining the conductor ends (3). The method continues by melting the material reservoir (5) and distributing the molten material reservoir (5) at least over the bonding point (4). Thus, an insulating structure (15) is provided after cooling the distributed material of the material reservoir (5). The insulating structure (15) insulates the conductor ends (3) against their surroundings at least at the bonding point (4).

    Abstract: A positioning device (10; 50; 60) for positioning wire ends (14) in the manufacture of an electrical machine (12) has a positioning unit (13) which has an alignment element (22a) and a counter-alignment element (22b) which are arranged one above the other in two parallel planes (16, 18) and can be displaced relative to each other along a displacement path (34), being at least partially superimposed or superimposable. Thereby, the alignment element (22a) has at least one through recess (24a) and the counter alignment element (22b) has at least one counter through recess (24b), which are arranged and designed in such a way that a clear positioning passage (99) perpendicular to the two planes (16, 18) of the alignment element (22a) and the counter-alignment element (22b), through which the at least one wire ends (14) can extend and the cross-sectional area of which can be varied by displacing the alignment and counter-alignment elements (22a, 22b) with respect to each other. In order to distort the wire ends as little as possible, the at least one through recess (24a) on the aligning element (22a) and the at least one counter through recess (24b) on the counter-aligning element (22b) each have two rectilinear edge sections (30a, 30b, 30c, 30d) which run in the respective plane (16, 18) at an oblique angle to the direction of displacement (FIG. 3).
