    Abstract: A utility vehicle includes a frame and a plurality of ground-engaging members supporting the frame. Each of the plurality of ground-engaging members is configured to rotate about an axle. The utility vehicle further includes a powertrain assembly supported by the frame and a braking system configured to operate in a normal run mode and an anti-lock braking mode. The braking system includes an anti-lock braking control module operably coupled to the plurality of ground-engaging members and configured to automatically engage the anti-lock braking mode in response to a predetermined condition.

    Abstract: A system and method for interfacing an autonomous or remote control drive-by-wire controller with a vehicle's control modules. Vehicle functions including steering, braking, starting, etc. are controllable by wire via a control network. A CAN architecture is used as an interface between the remote/autonomous controller and the vehicle's control modules. A CAN module interface provides communication between a vehicle control system and a supervisory, remote, autonomous, or drive-by-wire controller. The interface permits the supervisory control to control vehicle operation within pre-determined bounds and using control algorithms.

    Abstract: A brake assembly for a wheel on a vehicle includes a brake disc, a caliper assembly operably coupled to the brake disc, a brake line fluidly coupled to the caliper assembly, and a brake shield positioned adjacent a portion of the caliper assembly. The brake shield includes a first arm positioned on a first side of a portion of the brake disc and a second arm positioned on a second side of the portion of the brake disc. The brake disc further includes a recess configured to receive a portion of the brake line.
