A silicon substrate with a GaN-based device and a Si-based device on the silicon substrate is provided. The silicon substrate includes the GaN-based device on a SiC crystalline region. The SiC crystalline region is formed in the silicon substrate. The silicon substrate also includes the Si-based device on a silicon region, and the silicon region is next to the SiC crystalline region on the silicon substrate.

The invention discloses a method for transmitting digital contents between devices. First digital contents are modulated into an audio signal in a first device, wherein the first digital contents include contact information and at least one index of at least one second digital content. The audio signal is outputted by at least one audio generator of the first device and then received by at least one audio receiver of a second device. The audio signal is demodulated in the second device to make the second device obtain the first digital contents. The second device obtains the at least one second digital content according to the at least one index of the at least one second digital contents through a wired or wireless communication.
Abstract:
An AC/DC power supply apparatus includes a hollow casing and a power conversion unit. The hollow casing includes an upright partition therein. The power conversion unit is mounted on the upright partition. The power conversion unit converts alternating current into direct current. The hollow casing includes a detachable casing plate at one side thereof relative to one side of the upright partition. The power supply apparatus of the present invention can decrease loss of current during transmission. When the power conversion unit is damaged, the casing plate can be disassembled for replacement of the damaged electronic parts of the power conversion unit.

The present invention relates to a timer movement with a display for world time zones. While operating, by aligning the landmark of local time zone with a fixed point for calibrating the local time, then turning a time zone adjustable ring to the landmark of another time zone to be aligned with the fixed point, an inner gear ring of the time zone adjustable ring can drive a planetary idle gear, a planetary driven gear and a planetary base gear to rotate, and each elastic positioning ball is sequentially buckled and positioned along each positioning hole, and a first front hour wheel is enabled to perform planetary motion about a first minute wheel set on the planetary base gear, so as to rotate the first hour wheel meshed therewith for displacing a first hour hand to display the time of first location at the landmark of another time zone.

A computer apparatus and a resetting method for a real time clock (RTC) of the computer apparatus are provided. The resetting method for the RTC includes: generating a judging result by determining whether the computer apparatus is in an S5 state and determining whether a plurality of pre-determined keys are simultaneously pressed; pulling down a resume reset signal according to the judging result and correspondingly pulling down an operating voltage; pulling down an S5 enabling signal after pulling down the operating voltage for a pre-determined delay time; generating an RTC reset signal for resetting the RTC after pulling down the S5 enabling signal is pulled down.

This disclosure provides a semiconductor package and a method of fabricating the same. The semiconductor package includes an insulating layer; a plurality of traces and connection pads disposed in the insulating layer and protruded from the insulating layer; a plurality of bumps formed on the plurality of traces; a semiconductor chip disposed on the bumps; and an encapsulant formed on the insulating layer to encapsulate the semiconductor chip, the plurality of bumps, traces and connection pads. When the encapsulant is formed, voids can be prevented from being generated in the traces and the connection pads and thus the yield of process is significantly increased.

An authentication method for user equipment (UE) and LIPA network entities is applicable to a cross-LIPA communication environment having an UE end, a visiting LIPA network entity end (LIPAV), and a home LIPA network entity end (LIPAH). The UE end successfully registers to a core network (CN) via the LIPAV, thereby attaining mutual trust relationship between the UE end and the LIPAV. The UE end successfully registers to the CN via the LIPAH, thereby attaining mutual trust relationship between the UE end and the LIPAH. The LIPAH requests the UE end via the LIPAV for successfully re-authenticating the CN, thereby attaining mutual trust relationship between the LIPAV and the LIPAH.

A method for testing a handheld electronic device installed with an open operating platform including a first testing instruction and a second testing instruction includes sending the first testing instruction to the handheld electronic device to switch the handheld electronic device from a high power consumption state to a low power consumption state; sending the second testing instruction to the handheld electronic device to switch the handheld electronic device from the low power consumption state to the high power consumption state; and executing the first testing instruction and the second testing instruction repeatedly in a loop based on a predetermined test duration and test count, such that tests performed on the handheld electronic device are precise and stable.

A method for testing handheld electronic device is for use in testing the power consumption level of a handheld electronic device equipped with an open operating platform. The method involves configuring, in the open operating platform, a radio communication unit and a display unit of the handheld electronic device; configuring the radio communication unit such that the radio communication unit can receive a data signal; adjusting controllably brightness of the display unit; and comparing, after a predetermined time period of control, an initial power level and a current power level of a battery in the handheld electronic device to evaluate power consumption of the handheld electronic device.

Internal valve apparatus are described. An example internal valve includes a body having a valve seat disposed between an inlet and an outlet. A flow control member operatively coupled to the body moves between a first position in which the flow control member engages the valve seat to restrict the flow of fluid through the valve and a second position in which the flow control member is spaced from the valve seat to allow the flow of fluid through the valve. The example internal valve further includes a removable actuation member disposed within the body and responsive to a fluid pressure to cause the flow control member to move between the first and second positions.
