摘要: A heat exchanger including a first header, a second header, and a third header. The third header includes a first plate including a generally planar face and a second plate including a generally planar face parallel to the planar face of the first plate and joined to the planar face of the first plate. The second plate includes an arcuate recess that extends from the planar face of the second plate to at least partially define a flow conduit between a first tube and a second tube. The arcuate recess has a radius of curvature measured from an axis generally parallel to the planar faces of the first and the second plates, and the axis is located within a first plane generally parallel to and midway between first and second opposing flat broad sides of the first tube and the second tube.

摘要: An ignition control system for an appliance is disclosed. The appliance includes a gas burner, a user actuable valve for controlling a flow of fuel to the burner and an electrical resistance igniter for igniting fuel at the burner. The system includes a user actuable control interface having an off state and an on state, coupled to the valve operative to control the valve and provide a control signal indicative of the state of the control interface. The system also includes a controller having a timer circuit responsive to the control signal and a boost circuit coupled to the timer circuit. The timer circuit selectively activates the boost circuit for a predetermined period of time. A first DC power supply is selectively coupled to the igniter to provide power to the igniter through the boost circuit. A second DC power supply is coupled to the igniter and control interface.

摘要: The portable cooler is a portable refrigeration system for selectively and adjustably cooling a removable container, such as a beer keg, for example. The portable cooler includes a housing that defines an open interior region for removably receiving the keg. A door is pivotally mounted to the housing, providing the user with selective access to the open interior region. A refrigeration device is mounted within the housing, adjacent the container, and may be powered by an external power supply or by rechargeable batteries, also received within the housing. Wheels are pivotally mounted to a lower end of the housing, and a handle is mounted to an upper end of the housing, allowing the user to selectively transport the housing and keg.

The method may include receiving an architecture plan set from a designer, and storing the architecture plan set in an electronic storage medium. Further, the method may include allowing one or more subscribers to electronically view the architecture plan set, and facilitating purchases of the architecture plan set by one or more subscribers. The method may also include paying a plan royalty to the designer in connection with a purchases of the architecture plan set by the one or more subscribers, and paying an additional royalty, wherein the additional royalty comprises a portion of a revenue streams received by the architecture plan market, wherein the revenue stream does not include revenue generated by the purchase of the architecture plan set.

摘要: A snorkel clip made up of two substantially rigid elements, which are designed to wrap at least half way around a snorkel tube, overmolded with a substantially flexible element to create a simple, aesthetically pleasing device. The snorkel clip also includes a hinge region created as part of the substantially flexible element. This hinge region allows the snorkel clip to flex or bend so that one of the rigid elements may be disengaged and pulled away from the riser tube of the snorkel, so that a mask strap may be attached to and removed from the snorkel, while the other rigid element remains attached to the riser tube in a generally secure manner. The substantially flexible portion may also include several cut out sections to provide visual and tactile access to portions of the substantially rigid elements for utility and aesthetic design.

摘要: An open hole is drilled with coiled tubing that has an electric line. At the conclusion of drilling the drilling bottom hole assembly is removed and a liner running tool is connected between the coiled tubing and the liner. The electric line remains in the coiled tubing but spacers can be added to keep the lower end of the electric line away from the running tool. A wiper plug has a passage therethrough and a movable stinger that can hold open a pair of flapper valves. The liner is released from the running tool and cement is delivered through the stinger with a bit of excess that is above the running tool. The lifting of the stinger with the coiled tubing closes the flappers and allows circulation out of excess cement. Setting down on the coiled tubing allows a seal to re-engage in the deployment sleeve, allowing pressure to be placed against the wiper plug, such that it can be launched to displace the remaining cement within the liner into the annulus around the liner.

摘要: A method and system are provided in a wireless communications system comprising a plurality of nodes (users) working cooperatively. The system provides cooperative diversity by allowing nodes to actively share their antennas and other resources to obtain spatial diversity. The nodes receive the same message (information data) from a common source. Each node enhances the reliability of the message with a modern forward error correction (FEC) code, converts the FEC encoded message into an ensemble of symbols, divides the ensemble of symbols into packets, modulates, dithers and transmits the packets to a receiving node. The dithering process is performed by varying the signal amplitude, phase, frequency and/or symbol timing of the modulated packets. A unique dither pattern is assigned to each node. The receiving node captures a composite signal comprising the transmitted packets of all or most of the transmitting nodes in the cooperative communications system. Because the transmitted packets are dithered independently in phase and/or amplitude, spatial diversity is transformed into temporal diversity.
