    摘要: A hydraulic control circuit for an automatic transmission of a vehicle, the transmission including hydraulically operated coupling devices at least one of which is selectively operated to establish a corresponding one of speed steps, the hydraulic control circuit including electromagnetic valve devices which output respective hydraulic pressures to operate the hydraulically operated coupling devices, respectively, an all-fail detecting and switching valve device which is switched, based on an all-fail state of the electromagnetic valve devices in which none of the electromagnetic valve devices output the respective hydraulic pressures, to an operation state corresponding to a fail position to output, as a first hydraulic pressure, a source hydraulic pressure to a first hydraulically operated coupling device out of the plurality of hydraulically operated coupling devices, and an operation-state memory valve which is switched, based on a state of the vehicle before the all-fail state occurs, from a non-running position indicating that the vehicle is not running, to a running position indicating that the vehicle is running, which is kept at one of the non-running position and the running position, and which supplies an operating hydraulic pressure to one of a second and a third hydraulically operated coupling device out of the plurality of hydraulically operated coupling devices that corresponds to the one of the non-running position and the running position at which the operation-state memory valve is kept.

    摘要: Variable magnification optics for an image forming apparatus has a plurality of optical members, especially a first mirror and a lens located at the rear of the mirror, which are movable in association with each other and over a minimum of distance. This reduces the exclusive space which the optics occupies in the apparatus and, therefore, the overall dimensions of the apparatus. The mirror and lens which are interlocked with each other do not need independent drive lines, whereby the overall dimensions of the apparatus are further reduced.

    摘要: An illuminating device for use with an imagewise exposing arrangement of an electrophotographic copier, electrostatic printer or similar image recording equipment. A delimited area of a glass platen is illuminated by a light source and a main reflector which is implemented by a mirror. The main reflector is located outside of one end of the delimited area. Three auxiliary reflectors are individually associated with, among four sides which are individually associated with the outer edges of the delimited area, a side facing the one end where the main reflector is provided and two facing sides which adjoin the above-mentioned side. Light reflected by the main reflector is redirected by the auxiliary reflectors toward the delimited area.
