摘要: The invention concerns a flexible substrate comprising an inner lead connected to an external connection terminal formed on a substrate, and a base film formed on the lead. The base film area above the substrate and closest to the terminal is thinner than the terminal. The invention also provides a semiconductor device comprising an inner lead connected to an external connection terminal formed on a substrate, and a base film formed on the lead. The base film area above the substrate and closest to the terminal is thinner than the terminal. The invention also provides for a manufacturing method a semiconductor device comprising a substrate, an external connection terminal, and an inner lead with a base film. Further, the invention provides a semiconductor device with a substrate with a chamfered corner between the connection and side faces. By the invention, connection of an inner lead or a flexible substrate is made easier.

摘要: The magnetic attraction force of an electromagnetic coil in an electromagnetic clutch is increased in a limited installation space, thereby improving reliability of operation. The dimensions of a field core housing the electromagnetic coil and a rotor are optimized to increase the magnetic attraction force. The thicknesses of cylindrical portions on the inner-diameter side of the field core and the rotor have larger thicknesses than those of cylindrical portions on its outer-diameter side so that the sectional areas of both cylindrical portions will be equal to each other. Also, a rotation transmission device provided with an electromagnetic clutch is proposed which can avoid deterioration of its sealing property and damage to its bearing and avoid cost increase.

摘要: Disclosed is a novel thin ribbon of a rare earth/iron/boron-based magnet alloy prepared by quenching of an alloy melt by the method of strip casting, from which a sintered permanent magnet is obtained by the powder metallurgical method. The sintered permanent magnet can be imparted with greatly improved magnetic properties or, in particular, residual magnetic flux density when the thin alloy ribbon as the base material thereof has a metallographic phase structure containing “four-phase regions” consisting of (a) an &agr;-iron phase, (b) a R-rich phase, in which R is a rare earth element selected from praseodymium, neodymium, terbium and dysprosium, (c) a RxT4B4 phase, in which T is iron or a combination of iron and a transition metal element other than iron and rare earth elements and x is a positive number varying with the rare earth element, and (d) a R2T14B phase, in which R and T each have the same meaning as defined above, each phase being dispersed with a grain diameter in a limited range, in a volume fraction of from 1 to 10%.

摘要: A device for conveying a carrier tape by holding both sides with pressing rollers and drive rollers that rotate in opposite directions. The drive rollers have large-diameter portions and small-diameter portions so that the large-diameter portions are formed on inner sides of the circumferential surfaces of the drive rollers and the small-diameter portions are formed on outer sides thereof; and the pressing rollers have small-diameter portions and large-diameter portions so that the small-diameter portions are formed on inner sides of the circumferential surfaces of the pressing rollers and the large-diameter portions are formed on outer sides thereof. Both side edges of the carrier tape are pressure-held and conveyed by the pressing rollers and drive rollers with the large-diameter portions of the pressing rollers pressing the side edges onto the small-diameter portions of the drive rollers, thus curving the carrier tape in its width direction and preventing sagging of the carrier tape across the width.

摘要: A method for producing a composite composed of a mixture containing a metal oxide derived from a metal fluoro complex compound. The method includes adding a fluoride ion capturing agent to an aqueous solution containing a metal fluoro complex compound to precipitate the composite. The composite can be a mixture of two or more kinds of metal oxides derived from metal fluoro complex compounds, a mixture of a metal oxide derived from the metal fluoro complex compound and microparticles, or a metal oxide derived from the metal fluoro complex compound doped with metal ions. The composite may be in the form of a thin film precipitated on a substrate immersed in the aqueous solution.

摘要: A time-sharing drive apparatus for a camera having a plurality of motors includes a motor drive control system which alternately drives the motors in a time-sharing control. When the camera includes a zoom lens provided with a first stationary lens group, a second movable lens group and a third movable lens group, the motors are composed of a first motor which opens and closes a diaphragm of the zoom lens, a second motor which moves the second lens group, and a third motor which drives the third lens group. The motor drive control system which drives the first, second and third motors is controlled via a time-sharing system.

摘要: A drive apparatus for a zoom lens barrel having at least two movable zooming lens groups which are moved upon zooming, comprising: two lens frames which support the movable zooming lens groups, two cam pins integral with the lens frames and extending in the same direction, two parallel rotatable drive plates which are provided with cam grooves in which the cam pins are fitted, and two drive units which drive the respective drive plates upon zooming. The cam profile of the cam grooves of the drive plates is such that the movable zooming lens groups are moved in predetermined directions by the rotation of the drive plates during zooming.

摘要: A band seal is formed between a body and a cap of a capsule by fitting the cap on the body, and applying a gelatin-base sealant at least one time in the form of a band spanning the cap and the body. Band sealing is carried out by at least one of the following steps (A) to (E): the step (A) of applying the sealant at a temperature of 30-40.degree. C. at least when the sealant is first applied, the step (B) of applying the sealant at a viscosity of 50-200 centipoises at 50.degree. C. at least when the sealant is first applied, the step (C) of after the sealant is applied, blowing cold air at a temperature of up to 10.degree. C. to the band seal to cool the band seal below 10.degree. C., the step (D) of reducing the joint distance between the body and the cap shorter than the standard capsule length, and the step (E) of applying the sealant to only an edge adjacent portion of the cap surface when the sealant is first applied. The invention prevents bubbles from generating in the band seal.
