摘要: To incorporate a viscous coupling type power transmission apparatus for a four-wheel driven automotive vehicle with an antiskid braking system, viscous torque transmission from a first rotary transmission shaft (coupled to the front wheel shaft) to a second rotary transmission shaft (coupled to the rear wheel shaft) is intermitted by a clutch mechanism provided for the power transmission apparatus whenever a foot brake is applied. That is, when a foot brake pressure is applied to the brake member of the power transmission apparatus, the clutch mechanism is disengaged via a cam ring to decouple the first rotary transmission shaft from the second rotary transmission shaft.

Disclosed is a transmission which is provided, with multiple stage shift gears so arranged to shift a number of dog clutches to shift a gear to the upper stage of the multiple stage shift gears, and is characterized in that a guide part is provided to a shift operation section and the dog clutches on each of the sages so as to move the lower dog clutch in a neutral direction by a coasting torque acting on the lower stage by a shift rotation of the upper stage to release a meshing engagement when meshing engagements of the lower and upper dog clutches are simultaneously performed by an operation of the shift operation section.

摘要: A torque transmission coupling includes a rotating shaft and a drive pinion shaft for carrying out input and output transmission of a torque. A torque control part is arranged between the rotating shaft and the drive pinion shaft for controlling torque transmission between the rotating shaft and the drive pinion shaft on the basis of a frictional engagement caused by an electromagnetic force of an electromagnet. At least a portion of the torque control part is arranged in an outer periphery of a taper roller bearing rotatably supporting the drive pinion shaft, thereby allowing a shortening of an entire length of the torque transmission coupling.

The first reduction mechanism has a planetary carrier, a planetary gear rotatably supported by the planetary carrier, an internal gear in mesh with the planetary gear and a sun gear. The first reduction mechanism is supported by the housing so as to reduce driving force of the electric motor. The second reduction mechanism is positioned between the electric motor and the first reduction mechanism so as to reduce an output of the first reduction mechanism. The differential device is supported by the housing so as to distribute the output of the second reduction mechanism to a wheel side.

摘要: In a clutch unit, an engagement of a dog clutch can be restricted until a revolution of an input shaft and the revolution of an output shaft correspond to each other so as to be suitable for the engagement. The engagement can be effected when the revolution of the input shaft and the revolution of the output shaft have corresponded so as to be suitable for the engagement. Accordingly, the revolution of the input shaft and the revolution of the output shaft are speedily synchronized, and engagement shocks of the dog clutch can be accurately suppressed. Hence, it is possible to reliably transmit the torque to be transmitted from the driving source to the wheel side through the reduction mechanism.

摘要: The torque transmission apparatus is simple, small and light and has a clutch unit to receive thrust and transmit torque between rotary members, a differential screw mechanism to convert rotational force into the thrust applied to the clutch unit, and an electric motor to produce the rotational force. The differential screw mechanism has a driving screw and driven screws. The driving screw is rotatably and axially movably supported on a rotary drive shaft of the electric motor. The driven screws mesh with the driving screw and are rotatably and axially immovably supported. The meshing driving screw and driven screws are rotated to axially move the driving screw and apply engaging force to the clutch unit.

摘要: An apparatus for controlling the driving force of a vehicle is capable of using brakes to limit a differential operation, securing sufficient torque, and suppressing the heating and wearing of the brakes. In the vehicle, an engine generates torque to drive front wheels and/or rear wheels. A front differential allows differential rotation between the front wheels and transmits torque of the engine to the front wheels. A rear differential allows differential rotation between the rear wheels and transmits torque of the engine to the rear wheels. Disk brakes separately brake the front and rear wheels. An ABS/attitude electric control unit controls the disk brakes to limit differential rotation between the front wheels or between the rear wheels. At least one of the front and rear differentials is provided with a differential limiting mechanism.
