    摘要: A BD-ROM on which an AVClip and a Java™ application are recorded. The AVClip includes a video stream and an audio stream multiplexed therein. On the BD-ROM recorded further are management information and the Mixing_On flag corresponding to the management information. The management information indicates a playback control of the AVClip that is to be played back when the Java™ application is executed. The Mixing_On flag indicates whether or not when a user performs an operation on the Java™ application being executed while the AVClip is under the playback control, mixing of the click sound with an audio output of the AVClip is available.

    摘要: A data processor according to the present invention includes: a receiving section to receive a data stream including data of first primary video to be presented by switching pictures at a first vertical scanning frequency and data of first auxiliary video to be presented synchronously with the first primary video; and a converting section for converting the first primary video data and the first auxiliary video data into data of synthetic video to be presented by switching the pictures at a second vertical scanning frequency, which is different from the first vertical scanning frequency. The data stream includes timing information defining respective times to present the first primary video and the first auxiliary video. The converting section associates second auxiliary video, having the same contents as the first auxiliary video on a picture of the first primary video, with a picture of second primary video, having the same contents as the counterpart of the first primary video, thereby generating synthetic video composed of the second primary video and the second auxiliary video.

A shared section includes a continuous, interleaved arrangement having one each of main-view extents, sub-view extents, and extended extents. The stereoscopic video specific section includes a continuous, interleaved arrangement of extents having one each of the main-view extents and the sub-view extents. The monoscopic video specific section includes a continuous arrangement of a copy of the main-view extent arranged in the stereoscopic video specific section. The extended data specific section includes one of the extended extents that is to be used in combination with the copy of the main-view extent arranged in the monoscopic video specific section. The shared section is accessed when stereoscopic video images are played back, when monoscopic video images are played back, and when an extended stream is used. The stereoscopic video specific section is accessed during playback of the stereoscopic video images. The monoscopic video specific section is accessed during playback of the monoscopic video images. The extended data specific section and the monoscopic video specific section are accessed when the extended stream is read, immediately before or after a long jump.
