According to the technique, there are included a receiving unit 603 for receiving a message including information for causing a reception quality in a second cell to be measured in tune with timing of a predetermined control channel area of a signal to be transmitted from a first base station in a predetermined frequency band, and a measurement unit 605 for measuring the reception quality in the second cell based on the information received.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for paging a group of MTC devices, and for transmitting parameter information to the MTC devices using the paging mechanism. MTC devices are grouped together and a different group ID per group to which the MTC device belongs is assigned to the MTC device. A specific group paging resource indication is determined for each group wherein each MTC device is assigned one of the group paging resource indications. The network pages MTC devices of a group by transmitting a paging message at the corresponding channel resources and including the corresponding group ID. Additionally, the group paging resource indications of several groups of MTC devices can be aligned in such a way with the transmissions and re-transmissions by the network, that the different groups respectively receive the transmission and re-transmissions of the paging message.

    摘要: A radio terminal, radio base station, channel signal forming method and channel signal receiving method wherein when an upstream unit band and a plurality of downstream unit bands associated therewith are used to perform communications, the quality of downstream assignment control information can be prevented from being degraded. In a base station (100), the PDCCH signals including upstream assignment control information are limited to ones that are placed in some of the downstream unit bands. This can reduce the probability of performance of zero padding to downstream assignment control information having greater importance. Also in the base station (100), the PDCCH signals of the downstream unit bands other than the basic unit band include only downstream resource assignment information. For this reason, in the individual regions of the downstream unit bands other than the basic unit band, the bandwidth of the downstream unit bands is always used as a reference of size adjustment and hence requires no information size adjustment. As a result, there is no need of performing zero padding to the downstream assignment control information, so that the quality of downstream assignment control information can be prevented from being degraded.

If an instruction for restricting the measurement to a part of the radio resources is included in the control information from the base station after the radio link failure occurs, the terminal generates and transmits a radio link failure report including the measurement result in the radio resources as instructed when the radio link failure occurs.

    摘要: Disclosed is a technique for enabling a device that needs to send high priority and high bandwidth user plane traffic to send the user plane traffic even in the case where a group bandwidth has an upper limit in group-based communication. According to the technique, when an MTC device that is to send high priority and high bandwidth user plane traffic sends a service request to a network node (P-GW 213a), the network node allows use of a minimum bandwidth bearer in the case where the upper limit of the group bandwidth is exceeded. The MTC device sends a traffic sending request to an MTC server 214a via the bearer. The MTC server stops traffic of an appropriate other MTC device, to secure a bandwidth for the MTC device having the high priority and high bandwidth user plane traffic.
