摘要: A protein chip of a S—L—SP form wherein a substrate peptide (SP) is immobilized on a solid substrate (S) by the mediation of a linker protein (L). Such chip is usefully employed in a method for analyzing the interaction between a reactive protein and its substrate peptide involving the steps of: adding to the protein chip a reactive protein showing a specific interaction with the substrate protein immobilized on the protein chip; and detecting the interaction between the reactive protein and the substrate peptide. The use of such protein chip and methodology allows an increase in the reactivity between a peptide with low molecular weight and an enzyme with high molecular weight and between the peptide and a reactive antibody on the protein chip, so that the interaction between the peptide and the protein can be analyzed rapidly and massively.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for providing an arbitrary sound chosen by a called subscriber for a caller instead of a conventional RBT (RingBack Tone). The present method comprises: the first step, conducted by an HLR (Home Location Register), of furnishing a call-originating exchanger with information on whether to replace RBT or not for a terminal if a location request message is received from the call-originating exchanger when a call connection is requested to the terminal; the second step, conducted by the call-originating exchanger, of requesting a trunk connection to a call-terminating exchanger, and further requesting another trunk connection to a sound providing means based on the information and preset routing information while furnishing the sound providing means with information to identify the terminal; and the third step, conducted by the sound providing means, of selecting a sound based on the terminal identifying information, and providing the selected sound for a caller instead of an RBT.

摘要: The variable lamination rapid prototyping apparatus of the present invention includes a first feeding means which longitudinally reciprocates a sheet, a second feeding means which is provided under the first feeding means and reciprocates in a direction transverse to the sheet, and a rotating means which is coupled to the second feeding means and rotates around an axis parallel to the transverse direction of the sheet. The apparatus further includes a translation means which is linked to the rotating means, a cutting means which is coupled to the translation means, and a stacking means which subsequently stacks a plurality of cut sheets, thus forming the 3-dimensional object. The apparatus further includes a control means which previously stores data about the object therein and controls the above-mentioned plurality of means based on the data. Because a hot wire is provided in a parallelogram link structure, superior cutting accuracy and the stability are ensured. Furthermore, because the link structure is adjustable in length, it is possible to easily cut a sheet regardless of the size of the sheet.

摘要: A portable microwave plasma discharge unit receives microwaves and a gas flow via a supply line. The portable microwave plasma discharge unit generates plasma from the gas flow and the received microwaves. The portable microwave plasma discharge unit includes a gas flow tube made of a conducting and/or dielectric material and a rod-shaped conductor that is axially disposed in the gas flow tube. The rod-shaped conductor has an end configured to contact a microwave supply conductor of the supply line to receive microwaves and a tapered tip positioned adjacent the outlet portion of the gas flow tube. The tapered tip is configured to focus the microwaves received from the microwave supply conductor to generate plasma from the gas flow.

摘要: In one embodiment of the present invention, thermal deformation or bending of membranes in a transition radiation emitting structure can be reduced by providing flex regions in the membranes or the membrane support structures. In a second embodiment, deformation of membranes is compensated for by fabricating the membranes to cooperatively bend in a similar manner and direction. In a third embodiment, deformation of the membrane is reduced by fabricating the membranes with an intrinsic tensile or compressive stress.

摘要: The present invention discloses a solid bio-material for the detection of a bio-electromagnetic signal, which senses an information signal generated from living organisms and changes thereof by using fish scale, feathers of fowl and carapaces of tortoises among epidermal tissues of animals having the function of detecting, memorizing and transferring a weak information signal (bio-signal) of an electromagnetic field generated from bio-tissues, and a method for producing the same. The method for producing a solid bio-material for the detection of a bio-electromagnetic signal by using epidermal tissues of living organisms comprises the steps of: immersing the carcass of an animal with a developed epidermis such as fish, fowl, tortoises, etc. in a mixed solution of aromatics (fragrance), salt and water in the ratio of 1:2:300 for one week; separating the epidermis from the immersed living organism; washing the separated epidermis, soaking it in a mixed solution of potassium dichromate, vinegar and water in the ratio of 1:1:100 for 10 to 12 hours, applying a medium pressure thereto for 48 hours under an ambient temperature, and then drying it; applying heat of 40° C. and a cold air of −25° C. temperature in turn to the dried epidermis in a medium pressure state, two or three times in a period of 24 hours each; sterilizing the hot and cold treated epidermis by irradiating ultraviolet rays thereto with a 240 nm ultraviolet lamp for 30 minutes; generating static electricity by putting the sterilized epidermis in an electric cylinder and turning it at 500 RPM; applying pine nut oil to the outer surface of the electro statically processed epidermis; and cutting the epidermis into required sizes.
