    Abstract: A bearing arrangement for a shaft of an electric auxiliary motor for vehicles, wherein the shaft with a shaft end reaches through one of a housing opening and a through opening into a chamber formed in a gearbox housing, wherein the shaft is supported in a bearing bush which lies against a surface on the abutment side surrounding the through opening and wherein the bearing bush is fixed in the chamber by a filling body made of a hardened filling mass scaling the chamber from the outside inwards, wherein the chamber is equipped with at least one of a fixing surface and a sealing surface surrounding the axis of the shaft, against which the filling body is pressed as a result of shrinkage of the hardened filling mass upon hardening.

    Abstract: A switching contact is disclosed for vacuum interrupters, having a radial or axial magnetic field. In at least one embodiment, the switching contact includes a switching contact carrier and a contact plate. The switching contact carrier contains a coil for generating a magnetic field, said coil being formed by slitting the wall of a pot-like contact carrier. The outer diameter of the slitted wall of the pot-like carrier is smaller than the diameter of the contact plate located thereon. The switching contact is also provided with an annular supporting body which is inserted between the contact plate and the base of the contact carrier and surrounds the contact carrier at least in the slitted region. A vacuum gap is provided between the outer supporting body and the slitted wall.

    Abstract: For a low-pressure gas discharge switch, at least two main electrodes are arranged at least a distance d from each other, the electrodes in an arcing chamber forming a cathode and an anode of a discharge path for the low-pressure gas discharge.     Abstract: An apparatus produces intense pressure waves as shock waves for technical and preferably medical applications, especially for lithotripsy and/or pain therapy. Acoustic waves of high energy density are produced through the use of pressure pulsations. The pressure waves are produced by briefly heating a conductive electrolyte, whereby electric energy is converted directly and very largely without losses with the aid of an electric pulse for the purpose of heating up the electrolyte. The apparatus includes two electrodes which enclose the electrolyte and are controlled by a power pulse generator for outputting sound waves into a sound propagation medium.
