The latter also exhibit parasiticidal activity and are suitable for the preparation of the compounds of formula (I).

The spring compression plate (40), (46), (50), (60) is designed to maintain the integrity of the active material (28) over the lifetime of the vehicle in which it is placed. The spring compression plate (40), (46), (50), (60) also contains perforations (42) , (52), (66), (78) for allowing fuel vapor and air to freely flow through the canister (16).
