    摘要： The invention provides a method for performing intra-prediction. A target pixel is selected from a plurality of pixels of a current block. A first intra-prediction mode of a left block and a second intra-prediction mode of an up block are then determined A first prediction value of the target pixel is calculated according to the first intra-prediction mode. A second prediction value of the target pixel is calculated according to the second intra-prediction mode. The first prediction value and the second prediction value are then weighted-averaged to obtain a weighted-average prediction value as an intra-prediction value of the target pixel.
