摘要: An oil pump attachment structure is provided for an engine. The oil pump attachment structure includes an oil pump 9 coaxially driven by the crankshaft 2. A pump housing 10 of the pump 9 is disposed between a front cover 7 for covering timing chains 5a, 5b and crank sprockets 3a, 3b while leaving a clearance against the front cover 7. The pump housing 10 is also fastened to a cylinder block 1 so as to straddle the timing chains 5a, 5b, through stays 11a, 11b, 11c by bolts 12. With this arrangement, pulsation produced during the operation of the oil pump 9 is not transmitted to the front cover 7 directly, so that noise radiated from a front face of the front cover 7 can be reduced.

摘要: An image writing/display device has a voltage applying section, a pressure applying section, an initialization controlling section, and an image writing controlling section. In a state in which a display medium having a pair of electrodes and a display layer that is sandwiched between the pair of electrodes and whose reflectance is changed is positioned, the voltage applying section applies voltage to the pair of electrodes for changing the reflectance of the display layer. The pressure applying section applies pressure for changing the reflectance of the display layer. The initialization controlling section makes the display layer a uniform reflectance by applying pressure to the display layer with the pressure applying section. The image writing controlling section writes an image by applying data voltage from the voltage applying section to specific regions, that correspond to image data, of the display layer between the pair of electrodes.

摘要: Communication terminals are provided with a short range wireless communication interface. Some communication terminals are also provided with a long range wireless communication interface. A communication terminal having both interfaces is determined to become a segment manager by a plurality of communication terminals. A segment manager and its neighboring communication terminals constitute a segment and communicate with each other via the short range wireless communication interface. A segment manager distributes segment information and collects terminal information from communication terminals that belong to its own segment. The segment managers communicate with each other via the long range wireless communication interface. The segment managers exchange the terminal information related to each segment. Communication within a segment is performed through that segment alone via the short range wireless communication interface. Communication toward the outside of that segment is performed via the short range wireless communication interface and the long range wireless communication interface.

摘要: A mask for evaluation of an aligner includes, on a transparent substrate, a plurality of resistance measurement pattern blocks each including a plurality of resistance measurement patterns which have shapes identical to each other. Resistance values of respective measurement patterns of conductive film portions on a substrate exposed and formed by using a mask having a plurality of the same measurement patterns vary in dependency upon the accuracy of a lens, etc. of the aligner. Accordingly, this evaluation mask is used to carry out exposure process to etch a conductive film to measure resistance values of the conductive film portions to compare them to each other, thereby making it possible to carry evaluation of an aligner including evaluation of a lens therefor.
