摘要: A pumping system comprising a pumping unit formed by a motor and a pump and adapted to raise a liquid from an underground level to a utilization level, a vaporizable fluid flowing in a closed circuit between a solar evaporator and a condenser, the said motor being disposed in the outgoing branch between the evaporator and the condenser, and a circulator being disposed in the return branch. The motor comprises a motor chamber which is connected by an internal bistable distributor either to the evaporator when said distributor is in an intake state, or to the condenser when said distributor is in an exhaust state, said motor chamber being partly limited by a flexible wall free to move between an intake stroke end position and an exhaust stroke end position, the flexible wall triggering the changes of state of the distributor by reaching its two end positions. The distributor is biased by a resilient means into one of its two stable states on either side of an unstable equilibrium position and is urged into its stable exhaust state by a flexible band tensioned by the flexible wall in the intake stroke end position, and is pushed into its stable intake state by the flexible wall in its exhaust stroke end position. The pumping unit also comprises a transmission chamber separated from the said motor chamber by the said flexible wall, and a pump unit having, on either side of a deformable diaphragm, a pump chamber provided with an intake valve drawing from the underground liquid level, and a delivery valve for delivery to the said utilization level and a reception chamber communicating with the said transmission chamber via a two-way pipeline, an incompressible transmission liquid complementally filling the said transmission and reception chambers as it flows in the two-way pipeline.

摘要: Reactors are provided that can include a first set of fluid channels and a second set of fluid channels oriented in thermal contact with the first set of fluid channels. The reactor assemblies can also provide where the channels of either one or both of the first of the set of fluid channels are non-linear. Other implementations provide for at least one of the first set of fluid channels being in thermal contact with a plurality of other channels of the second set of fluid channels. Reactor assemblies are also provided that can include a first set of fluid channels defining at least one non-linear channel having a positive function, and a second set of fluid channels defining at least another non-linear channel having a negative function in relation to the positive function of the one non-linear channel of the first set of fluid channels. Processes for distributing energy across a reactor are provided. The processes can include transporting reactants via a first set of fluid channels to a second set of fluid channels, and thermally engaging at least one of the first set of fluid channels with at least two of the second set of fluid channels.

摘要: A system of solar thermal collectors and an HVAC controller draw heated air through a solar thermal absorbing needle-punched propylene geotextile with limited permeability to air flow, into the interior of poultry livestock house. In various embodiments, the poultry livestock house is divided into zones. Groups of collectors are joined with breather holes on opposite sides of the collectors and solid sides on the ends of each group. Groups of collectors serve each zone of the poultry livestock house. In an embodiment of the system the Environmental Optimization System (“EOS”) provides a system for the intelligent control and monitoring the broiler poultry livestock structure environment through the utilization of a variety of environmental and livestock behavior sensors, apparatus for controlling the thermal collection and existing interior heating/air conditioning/ventilation (“HVAC”) systems, and Internet or cloud based intelligent control and monitoring capabilities of the system. In various embodiments central sensor data aggregation is utilized to provide improved optimization control for livestock zones within individual structures based on data from multiple structures.

摘要: A system includes an algae bioreactor that contains an algae slurry, a heat exchanger in fluid communication with the algae bioreactor to receive the algae slurry from the algae bioreactor and heat and increase a pressure of the algae slurry, and one or more valves and a flash vessel in fluid communication with a discharge of the heat exchanger to flash the algae slurry and create steam and algae biomass. A separator receives the algae biomass from the flash vessel and separates oils from the algae biomass to generate a biofuel.
