    摘要: An electric motor assembly includes a stator, a rotor, a motor housing, a rotatable shaft, a radial fan, and an air scoop. The motor housing at least partly houses the stator and rotor and presents an exterior motor surface. The rotatable shaft is associated with the rotor for rotational movement therewith, with the rotatable shaft extending along a rotational axis. The radial fan is mounted on the rotatable shaft exteriorly of the motor housing and is rotatable with the shaft to direct airflow in a radially outward direction. The air scoop extends radially outwardly relative to the radial fan and axially to receive radial airflow from the radial fan and turn the airflow axially to flow along the exterior motor surface. The air scoop includes spaced apart axially extending airflow vanes to guide the airflow as the airflow is turned axially.

    摘要: A field winding type rotating electric machine, whose power factor is cos θ, includes a stator, a rotor with a field winding, a rectifying element, a drive unit and a control unit. When performing rectangular-wave or overmodulation energization, the control unit generates a voltage pulse pair, which induces a current pulse pair, by: setting a reference time to the center of an ON duration or OFF duration of a control signal of a first phase; and providing a temporary ON duration and a temporary OFF duration after a predetermined angle from the reference time. The predetermined angle is within a predetermined range including cos−1 θ in electrical angle. The temporary ON duration is provided to temporarily turn ON a control signal of a second phase during an OFF duration thereof. The temporary OFF duration is provided to temporarily turn OFF a control signal of a third phase during an ON duration thereof.

    摘要: An electric motor controller, an electric motor drive circuit, and methods for combined electric motor control are provided. The drive circuit is configured to drive a first electric motor and a second electric motor. The drive circuit includes a rectifier configured to convert an AC input voltage to a pulsed DC voltage, and a first DC link electrically coupled to the rectifier. The first DC-link includes a low-capacitance capacitor having a capacitance less than 10 μF. The drive circuit also includes a first inverter coupled to the first DC-link, the first inverter configured to generate a conditioned output voltage to drive the first electric motor, a second DC-link electrically coupled to the first DC-link, and a second inverter coupled to the second DC-link. The second inverter is configured to generate a conditioned output voltage to drive the second electric motor.
